I’m trying to do this to a iPhone 13 pro max and iTunes pops up with that notification that says it’s downloading a software on the iPhone for awhile and then it just stopped and it powered on the phone and it goes to the password screen just like it did before.. so unfortunately nothing changed for me.. it’s too bad! I was really hopeful it’d work…. But on the iTunes app in the top right corner where it’s circling around an arrow pointing down indicating it’s downloading, that still is showing downloading but device has already powered on so we’ll see what happens when the downloading minute timing goes down to zero minutes!

Hello question so the wife forgot her 6 digit code so we had to factory reset so we did but now after getting it setup again we got hit with a message saying please enter old password so no we are stumped phone works fine but some stuff is locked till we enter old password.
Okay so I’m currently trying this method. And the thing is after every 15 minutes or so, my iPhone just boots out of the recovery mode/screen. Is that normal? Cuz then I restart the whole process and put it back to recovery while iTunes continues to download software. Will this work?
