I dashing In Oklahoma . . But there's nothing mentioned about silver, gold or platinum. Now have I received an email offering me anything beyond top Dasher. I'm super confused s to why. You may not be able to answer this question. But I sure hope you can.
Even as a platinum dasher I still get multiple no tip orders every day I drive.

Oh, that will happen for sure. You do get priority on good orders, but if you are somewhere and there is no good orders, you will get priority on the crap too. The best way I've found to minimize that is paying attention to your location. You will quickly learn what places the good orders generally come from and what places have lots of bad orders. If I end up next to the McDonnalds of the world, I normally put a pause and reposition to a place where I can get orders from actual sit down restaurants. Neighborhood is also a factor, so I try to avoid staying in areas where a lot of calls come from places where tips don't tend to be that good.

For whatever reason, my offers have been considerably bad the past couple weeks regardless if I’m platinum or not. SO many no tip offers, offers with a lot of mileage, and haven’t gotten a catering order in about a month or so. I’m lucky to see an offer above $10 and it’s always for a lot of driving.
In a full day, it wasn’t uncommon for me to get anywhere from $220-280 a day. Now it’s a struggle to get to $130 and with gas still increasing, dashing is becoming almost completely not worth it for me.

Don't hold your breath for Platinum. My orders still look the same as your silver and gold tier.
It's adorable that you bring up Peak Pay. In my market we might get $1 Peak Pay, but for a $2 Peak Pay you're probably going to get stabbed.
I feel like being Platinum/Top Dasher is Door Dash's way of getting trash orders out of their system.
It actually isn't. You sure still get some crappy orders in the mix, but not nearly as many, and you get orders that you'll never see on the lower tiers. Is when you are on the lower levels that you get the bottom of the barrel. I can't imagine doing doordash again if not on the platinum tier.
@@andremesq It's more difficult to maintain 70% if you don't accept the trash orders. As we see with this guy, he's taking orders that he normally wouldn't take just to get that acceptance rate up.
@@EchoMirage72 Looking forward to seeing what Mike has to take to maintain 70%. He probably isn't going to be happy with what he has to take. He'll know if it's worth it or not because he charts and graphs everything. Pittsburgh seems a decent market, if it's not worth it there, probably isn't worth it in most places.
The weird thing with the wrong address has happened to me one time and it was on the very first order I ever had . Some guy had forgot and left his home address on when he was really at work. It confused me so much for first delivery and the AI support had me a nervous wreck.😂 No Gold Dash in my future. Current AR 39% 😢

thanks for sacrificing your sanity to show us if gold status is worth it. i imagine its most effective during peak dinner times and not so much late night or earlier than lunch. cant wait to see how this plays out.
From someone who has done it, I can say that nothing is going to feel like is really worth it until you get to platinum. Its only them that you see a real difference in in my experience.

I once had a liquor order that I happen to be in the store next to the bottle of vodka when I got the offer. I was in store to use the bathroom then I waited for an offer.
Today was insane on Shipt!! Took a 59 item order, only reason why is because I deliver to this customer alot and she always tips great! Banged it out within an hour or so. Order total was $520!! She TIPPED $80!!!

Awesome job, Shipt and Instacart can be great for people who like shopping (briskly). I feel like I'm way too fast paced for grocery, I want to be in and out in 3 minutes on restaurant runs.

@SaulSP23 ehhh, depends, slow days on Shipt suck especially with no tippers. With Doordash atleast you know how much you are getting.
you can just turn off shop and deliver orders if your trying to grind your a.r. up to 70. wouldn't your day be easier without any shop and deliver items ?
Door Dash had me go up a long windy dirt road to nowhere last time I dashed. I was so mad! It ended up I should have followed my instincts and headed the way I originally was gonna go. Always trust your guts! 😊

Why aren't you using earn by time mode instead? This is usually what people do to get the ar up.... At least you will be making more money and won't have to do all those shop and deliver orders which is a + if you don't like those...

Not if EBT is paying $12-14/hr. You’re better off doing per offer. You’ll get more jobs done and have the opportunity to decline real bad offers.
Do you have a video on filing an injury claim with door dash? I'm not finding much on that. I was injured at drop off and was just making sure I did the right thing.
when the shop and deliver orders are bad, they are really bad; but when they're good, they're really good. if you know a store you can do a shop and deliver quicker than you can pick up some food at certain restaurants
How are you calculating business miles? Do you start tracking when you tap the Dash Now, or when you leave your home? And when do you stop tracking?
Business miles are anytime you are intending to do business. So technically it’s any miles while you are online(dash now).
When u start the car up that is business miles until I get home
I start counting the miles as soon as I plan on doing business from start of driveway, ending when I get back at my driveway. My tax person will help me determine the best deductibles.
Got back to Gold with a 4% buffer, seems to pay more. I do 4 hours per week on Friday and Saturday so I'm going to have to do a few Thursdays to get to Platinum because I'm not getting the "100 orders in the last 30 days" requirement fulfilled. Will keep you updated.
The wife's theory is if you get stuck with crap orders for awhile, they make up for it if you keep grinding and she seems to have a point in our experience.
I love your videos and wish we got orders like you guys get up north on this video is what is normal for my area in Florida. A lot of non-tip orders. A lot of distance. I am in my '80s and '90s. I should be platinum by the time it hits down here. Yes I'm a top Dasher and there are days like you are showing today where I play suck it up buttercup just to make sure my acceptance rate and my completion rates are up😂 but enjoy watching you do it because I see what you turn down. Your acceptance rate moves faster than our acceptance rate down here. We get one point per five deliveries. It's a lot harder to work in Florida than it is where you are

Ive had this happen several times....and I always call support as you did. Cover your A..
as a customer, the last 5 or so times, the doordash app would send the driver to the next street over, no matter what I would do with the pin. So incredibly frustrating to have to explain to the driver that the driver app is sending to the wrong address and just to enter it into google maps
When i was working for doordash these past years i would see that and report it to them but they would never Fix it because they are a Company ran on Greed and its a bunch of Scummy people running it, you wouldn’t Believe all the things i seen Doordash do thats not right, I recommend to use another app and not Doordash.
If the driver has any sense they will figure it out quickly
There is currently an issue with the in app navigation. I had it happen 2 times, first time it took me 9 miles the wrong way. Second took me 5 miles the wrong way. I switched in my app to use Apple Maps, not sure why others aren’t.
might be worth it to contact DD support. they might be able to move the pin for you. you may have to take a screen shot of exactly where you are so they can update it
@@secretchannel6232 its been happening in the app and on google maps, its gotten to the point I just leave it where the app took me and take a screen shot, and the picture of where its at and go about my way, if i get deactivated i dont care, the last 5 times this happened this week it took me miles away from the customer.

$2.75 hey, I’m working right now, I just took a $2.00 bit it was like 500 ft across the street from 7/11. Those come once in a while, it’s really better than waiting and getting nothing. I call them filler orders. 🤷🏻♀️
I have to laugh when they boast the 5 dollar offer is something special. I don’t care if it’s only a mile. You have to drive to the restaurant, most likely wait a little, verify order, drive to the customer and after spending 20 to 30 minutes, you’ve grossed 5 bucks.
Exactly why I want minimum $7, yes $5.50 for .8 miles is 'high paying' but I don't want to play the high volume order game. I want fewer orders per hour that are ideally $10+ each
I thought the base pay for shopping was 6 dollars tho?? Also that is one thing I like about shopping for walmart spark. The app tells you exactly where each item is isle and row number. Spark also will tell you X number of items X number of units as well.
I swear every time I lower my standards the order goes haywire. Ever since I only cherry picked all my orders are smooth. Food is ready quick and drop off it quick and address is accurate.
The in-app navigation is glitchy as heck. I got a contract violation following bad directions that took me 4.5 miles away from when I was supposed to go.
I'm on to plan b. Plan a stunk.... I made way less money...way more gas.... it was horrible taking these low orders was driving constantly for no pay. I was at 79 percent. I only need 50 when it comes here. So going to just try 50. We are loosing dasher in this valley. 1 girl who did 6 days a week hourly is leaving.... she got a job. I am 6 days a week I clean house on some days but I deliver allot. Going to miss doordash if I can't get 50. 😢
Holy crap, Im at 58%, but during the day I mapped out that I had gone from 57% to 55% then back up to 58% once I decided to try and boost it, and tomorrows plan was to get to 70% for silver, to see if its worth it, and I was plotting that I could do it with about 15 orders, just accepting all the things that dont absolutely suck in my market.
Anyway, how weird your first sentence of this video is like my entire days thinking summed up, including thinking that basic exact sentence myself just hours ago, from 58% to 70%. Why not try it? Watching now to see if you did it. Right on time.
😮😮😮bro. I have only been dashing for 2 weeks know. All of a sudden TODAY...just about every time I open the app, the "dash now" button is not there and just about everything is sc scheduled for a week out. Have you heard of any changes made?
I had the same in ATX, I have 94% acceptance 200+ deliveries and yet no benefits. My app doesn't even show me what level of dasher I am.
It just says you are priority for higher orders.
Just keep an eye for availability in 30 minutes intervals as other drivers get kicked off schedule you can take the next 30m to 1h & hope theirs more after. 😂
So DD cheats is of $2 for stacked orders?
Ya they started that back in January they only pay you for one job if stacked oder
I saw one order paying $16, didn't take it cause I already had an Uber order going the other way. couple minutes later it sent me a stack, same order with another added on by the same customer. New pay $15.50.
The last couple weeks I’ve had a lot of troubles with address and where to drop off, the gps will show the a dark gray on the wrong houses. Anyone else having troubles with this lately?

I'm top Dasher. And my percentile is higher than most. I haven't been offered catering yet either. I'm just curious why ..
uber eats does this in my market. it says 10 items then lists units, if it says 10 items tho thats literally 10 different items, if they want multiples of something units will be higher than items. Edit, also i've had no address shown deliveries, but it was to a park with no address. DD lets ppl drop pins so you can deliver to weird places now. they just show up as blank or gps cord numbers.
My husband and I are both Top Dashers here in Central California and havent seen the Tier system ...yet. Lately its been VERY slow. Saturday I personally only got 2 orders in nearly 4 hours and today I got 4 in the same amount of time. Sad. Peak pay is non existent unless you dash in the middle of the night. We're both well above 70% Acceptance rate and most of what *I* saw this morning was trash orders like 12 miles for $13 and $11 for 10 miles.
Might as well get a job at fast food since the California government there force $20 minimal wage for fast food workers.

Doordash took away the feature on shop and deliver orders that shows what aisle the items are in, instead it just shows the 'section' (pantry, snacks, dairy etc) making it frustrating if you don't know the layout oft he store too well. Almost thinking of opting out because of that. Its fine if they're straight forward items but if they're unusual things it really sucks.
Try turning off shop and deliver, you will receive bigger offers
You should have asked the customer if they wanted male or female bell peppers. Males have four bumps on the bottom, females have three. Females are better eating raw, they are a little sweeter and good for salads and such, not really too good for cooking, males are good for cooking and they have less seeds.
Yesterday I go long long distance low orders that took me way down to 67. 168 shopping items10 miles 16.75😂😂😂😂😂😂 so another thing I got to 72 and I declined a double order. Went immediately to 70 Accepted 5 orders in a row never went up. I declined the 6th and went down to 69. All rigged!!!!!
You know what??? At this point, if youre dashing with the sole purpose of boosting AR…and you’re NOT on Earn By Time,,,you deserve those 20 item 6 dollar orders

That happens to me a lot where I’m at the correct address but DoorDash asks me if I’m at the correct address.

Nope. It's all a waste of time. You'll get a few but then you have to accept all the trash ones so it's not worth it.
I guarantee at the end of all of this that's his conclusion. It's not worth it.
@@mluterancik Yeah Mike will figure it out, he charts and graphs everything. He seems the critical type, so I think he'll be honest with us. I've heard from top dashers in this area that they see high paying offers I won't probably ever see, but I don't think they tell me about the miles they put on their car to maintain top dasher stats.
Did Mike do this experiment with the Diamond program? The Rewards program is not much different than Diamond, it's the same priority scheme with slightly different tiers.
😊😊just for the sake of the " I tip after service has been rendered" argument I take one every blue moon just to see. NEVER been tipped after. Has anyone here had a different experience?
I have been tipped afterwards several times, but it's always the people that already tipped. Last time was this last week I has having amazing shifts and I got this 5 mile for, it said 12+ could be higher. Well tip ended up being $15 had a nice QUICK chat with customer, and about 5 minutes later I got a message to update me that the person sent me an additional $5. But I've never gotten a tip afterwards from someone who hadn't tipped already
I had a 1 item shop and deliver. That 1 item…a box of CONDOMS lol. At least he tipped well.
I do not take any orders under 7$ this is 2024 not 2000 I don't care if it is across the street time is money

Sounds like your market is crap. Why accept bad orders to keep dash anytime? I’m at 53% and still get great offers and schedule on the go and dash now when it’s busy.
These AR requirements are BS. I don't know how they can legally dictate who gets higher paying orders. Sounds discriminatory and seems like they're forcing you to be an employee with no benefits.
I am 4 min in and I would puke if they were my offers!!!! I hate shop and pay and shop and pays for those amounts.....oh my! Silver status is not helping so far at all!
If you lived where i did you can never get your acceptance rate up to 70%. I am at 53%and i get offers for 11 miles for 10$.. or worse 16$ for $17 miles and btw i almost always take shop and delivery orders they are usually higher paying .. dd is very unpredictable ..
Sounds like your market won’t even have any good orders regardless if you hit 70%.
I only get 2-3offers/day in my small town. Our volume is low, so I’m offered every offer no matter how low my AR is 😂

I went from silver straight to platinum. I already had the 100 deliveries and just needed to boost up to 70%. While I was dashing, they sent a message saying I was platinum. But here's the catch. I switched immediately to ebo, and they sent, four in a row, very low crap offers. I was cursing all up in my car. Lol. Switched back to ebt and got nothing but good tip deliveries. Figure that one out. So what I'm gonna do is get my ar in the 80's,then go back to ebo. See what happens. But they slick with the low ball offers, despite platinum. And I hate all the shop and pays. Ebt, you don't get those. I did get my first catering offer. The pay out was $35. So that was cool.

If door dash would stop sending trash orders to people that have AR but maybe but I had to many times I accepted a dumb offer because I dident want to drop under 70

You have got to turn off shop and deliver. You’re never going to make any money doing that.
This effort is in vain. Once you reach Platinum level, you’ll quickly find that you still have to take many low offers to maintain your acceptance rate. They have you right where they want you. Once in a while they’ll throw you a bone to make you think you’re special. Total waste of time and earnings potential.
It's still trash it just say "good paying" when its normal trash.

They only offer 1$ extra in my area and that's because of traffic due to a collapsing bridge that we can only travel in the west bound lanes.
It's never worth it to try and achieve any sort of top tier in these programs. You're just destroying your car doing so.. Common sense..
I got kicked off the app because the wrong address was given to me. I guess I am done. The tier program is still trash. The app it self is trash. Keep cherry-picking guy. The DD app. Is not in the business of giving you all high-paying orders. Good luck. But I have lost more money. Reaching the 70% tier. It's trash.
I’ve had people “forgetting” to change their address before & CALLED support & they told me to take it to the address shown!!! That’s happened more than once!!!
