Excellent work. I really admire the results. But being a 4AGE 20V owner, I can't help but point out that the distributors for 20V we're never mounted to the side next to the exhaust headers like that. They some stock mounted at the back, and is typically moved in front where the exhaust cam pulley is for RWD applications. They do this because the distributor will have no room between the engine and the firewall to remain in the stock position
Then somebody install silvertop in AE-86 he need to cut firewall for distributor or make modification to install distributor in front of the engine head. But yes - you can not install distributor on the side of engine head on silvertop.
I’m not sure if this would make a difference but this engine and kit is from a show, I don’t think the silver top engine in this car is the same as yours, it is a 4A-GEU from a TRD Group A AE101 not a road legal engine
@@Josh_reilly .... TRD or NOT a silvertop is a silvertop. the block is the same. the head is the same. Where it changes are the specs. TRD silvertops do have rear distributor. The only differences are as follows Dry Sump system Cams 304 duration Forged pistons Forged connecting rods (Early TRD were just OEM that went through a better stress testing before moving to H-beam) Billet crankshaft Fuel injection was up to the owner- Carburettor or Fuel Injection manifolds were provided. Others which I probably skimped; but essentially TRD just takes a Silvertop and throws in custom parts. That's it. They make some of their parts sometimes; other times they outsource it. Akira Iida got around the firewall issue by Smacking the area on the firewall flat.
Wow I do not have the patience to do something like that brother, I give it to you it turned out awesome. Very nicely done power plant, it looks even better in the chassis. Have yourself a happy New Year brother.
I love the tamiya and Japanese and European models that come with the engine, lots and lots of detail in those kits,,cus some kits are super realistic but do have the engine, the ones without the engine are a bumber, but you can allway scrap build a engine out of styrene and model putty, anyways tho great work can wait to see more,2 thumbs up👍👍
Would you have a recommendation on a good 85' Trueno kit? I have found a bunch of different ones but no one goes into detail the pro and cons of the kit.
Looks awesome man, just letting you know, the silvertop 20v engines don't have the distributers on the right hand side, they're originally on the back of the head but most of the time moved to the front or removed all together in ae86s
Yeah i know haha..but i dont know why this kit engine came like this..the disturbutor is placed in front, i try to run the wires to the back but it doesn't make sense because its too near the exhaust and there is not much room between the engine and firewall for the wires to run naturally .
This is a work of art. Do you do paid work? I got the Tamiya Supra to try replicate my brothers one as a present for Xmas for him, I had a good bit of work done but the child knocked it over and broke the TRD spoiler I purchased repeatedly and the front lip. Ive given up on ever getting it done now.
Do u mean why i run the wires like that? Because the distributor sit in front and i try to run the wires to the back but doesn't seems right because the exhaust is just right there..so i have to run infront

Merry Christmas my friend! 😄😄 and have a great day😄😄
Looks amazing! What type of cement are you using to keep it all together? You must be using a pretty small amount as well?
Looks like regular super glue.
I use super glue, but becareful because most of them will fog out..i just lucky to found one that will not produce fog😂
Bob Smith gold superglue its about 10 to 20 dollars and its perfect for clear parts
bruh i wished i had skills and patience like you, because i can't do any of these because the lack of patience and time😩
Haha actually im very impatience too😅 but i tried my best and work slowly..i can only work 2 to 3 hours max and im out of focus already hahs
Fantastic!
Ive watched almost all ur videos in the past 2 days, There sooooooooooo good, keep up the good work.
And where can i find this kit ??
Amazing engine.
Merry Christmas Everyone

Aoshima kit will be better in my opinions, some came with engine too😁
Omg a masterpiece
Thanks😂😄😄
What paint do you use to brush? Do you add thinner to it?
Hi, normally i like to use enamel to paint..if its too thick u can add some thinner..it depends😁

This project for Toyota ae86 ?
Yes😁😁
I know when I look at your instagram.
may I ask if this engine came with the car? or if this engine itself is a separate kit?
Yes this engine came with the initial D ae86 kit😁
@@JHHobby Thank you
за трамблёр МИНУС !!! провода уходят под клап. крышку ? )))
What would be the scale of this engine?
Sebiji nampak real.
Is this not a 4A-GS from older ae 101 group a?
This is from the initial D final stage whr he use this silvertop 4age
Wow
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its aoshima's ae86
👌👍
Why do the wires come out of the cylinder cover, breaking their tightness?? I understand that this is a model, but the logic must be.
There's a Relocating kit for the Distributor that looks pretty much same as the one in the model.
Do u mean why i run the wires like that? Because the distributor sit in front and i try to run the wires to the back but doesn't seems right because the exhaust is just right there..so i have to run infront
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
