My dad was stationed in 32nd then Long Beach and back to 32nd. Didnt grow up in SD my dad just commuted and stayed in SD most of the week. But visited SD alot and also have cousins there in Mira Mesa. The big influence of the military especially the Navy is one of the reasons San Diego is such a great city. LA does not have the same influence the vibe is so different. SD is Def my fave city in California .
Good and informative video.Many years ago when I lived there,I went to Ocean Beach to see the July 4th fireworks.It was so beautiful being over the ocean.The traffic back was horrible.I miss Julien and the apple pie ala mode.

Regarding parking problems, I wonder how feasible it is to go to these places on the fourth of July by bus. Do the schedules change much? Are the busses reliable?
can you please make a video about the highest (literally) places /panoramic views in SD? for example, skyscraper tops open for visitors, towers, restaurants at the top of some tall buildings, etc? thank you!!!
Also question!! I hear there is a concert July 4th at the petco park , should we not do that and just watch the fire works ? Or would you go to the concert and watch from inside ??

#1 Stay home , invite a couple friends over for a bbq while the rest go out struggling for parking all day all over San Diego beaches

The best thing to do is to not come. There's already too many people in this city and trash on the beach.
