This is me! I binged all the time, feel guilty, eat well and then reward myself by binge eating. I am not fully carnivore yet, but very low carbs with high amounts of eggs and beef along with daily electrolytes and I am starting to feel much better.
I may be the only one, but I appreciate that she speaks fast. I usually find myself fast forwarding and annoyed these interviews drag on. But of course I talk fast too!
Lol! Welcome to the club… the fast talkers. 👍
I understand your perspective. I also prefer people get to the point when they speak, without the unnecessary babbling. However, you can achieve that without talking fast. In addition, in this discussion, I do think she’s still babbling too much.
I increase the playback speed on all videos and tend to skip intros
I do about 85% carn...very little sugar aside from honey and berry fruit & yogurt in the morning. ..the odd peanut butter cup...angus meat, burger & dogs, bacon, eggs (& I'm losing interest in eggs) salmon, lamb, peanutbutter, little gluten except for sandwiches now and then, no pizza, taters, rice, veggies, (never liked veggies mostly) avos, so it's pretty easy.
My weight is normal same size as high school 32w, walk 2 miles every morning, do the gym 3 days a week...I'm 73. No brain fog...sleep great, calmer, stress fell like deflating a ballon, vision improved, and the arthritis is down 90%.
So I'm just going along without any concern and that's me....
PS...Im not on any meds. No blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes kidney prostate issues of any kind. I take nitrous oxide to keep my blood elastic for a minor heart valve issue which I'm told is common at my age....but it beats strong and regular when I'm pumping weights at the gym. So I'll just go along my merry wat til I fall over dead or don't get up some morning, which is fine with me, ya know? Weird world.
Yes. Pardon the pun, but a weight was lifted from my shoulders about 3 months into going carnivore, by no longer treating it as a diet, but a way of life. A healthy level of weight loss and definition just became nice side effects, but I now somewhat regret those previous years of stressful diets and guilt. I look back and think of what total fixation I had about weight and the amount of time it took out of my life. Thankfully I found this at 38, and I am now 40 and loving my new lifestyle. Do I wish I'd known at 20 what I know now? Heck yes, I may have held onto a bit of hair lol. However, better late than never, and as Dr Chaffee says, "It's never too late to stop putting poison in your body."
I'm so happy to read you have been feeling like a million bucks! So glad this way of eating has been such a positive thing for your health and life!
I agree. I wish I had found it sooner, but we can’t go back. We just have to look forward and be happy for where we are now!❤
I can eat 20 cupcakes in an hour. And then a bag of chips because I couldn't decide if I wanted sweet or salty. But carnivore save me too!! Congrats.
I am starting my carnivore journey today. I was vegan for almost 5 years and it ruined my health, both mentally and physically. It’s been a little over a year since I stopped my vegan journey… my health is so much better. Almost all my issues are gone. Mentally I am 95% better and physically I am about 85% better. I have such an issue with sugar and carbs. My diet is mainly animal based not necessarily by choice, most plant based foods mess my system up. But now I’m making it a choice. I just had a mental breakdown because of a part of a cookie I just ate, because I have an addiction. For me I can’t just have sweets in moderation, I’ve tried and it doesn’t work for me. I will easily inhale cookie after cookie. Then I’ll want everything with sugar. Which then results in severe headaches, digestive issues and mood swings… I’ve had a horrible relationship with food and my body since I was a very young girl. Always had weight issues and developed an eating disorder around 14… I still struggle with it from time to time. Eating an animal based diet has helped me with that so much.
I hope you do great. Feel free to reach out to either of us if you need support!
I find it hard to eat carbs/sugar in moderation too. Low carb/carnivore has been so liberating for me. Best wishes for your journey of recovery :)
This is me I cannot let a single sugar or carb like bead or roast potatoes pass my lips. Tried to moderate for years and I cannot do it.
I am just the same. Vegan wrecked my life! 6 years, even being high raw vegan. Get off all grains ! Grains are sugar just as well for the body. It does not care where it’s oats, rice or whatever. I still have cabbage and low carb veggies and go high fat low protein. That’s what works really well for me
She looks fantastic. Healthy.
Great interview.
I totally jived with so much that she said. I'm 47 and for the first time I feel major freedom and control over my way of eating. I'm only 6 months in but I don't think I'll ever stop because this is the absolute easiest thing I've ever done and I've been on every diet there's is ...I don't even think of this as a diet because it's so easy. I feel amazing
Agreed!!!
ME TOO 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. I’m 6 months too. Feel AMAZING
Her testimony resonated with me as I’ve had a food disorder since early childhood. When I was 5 years old I would wait for my mom to get into the shower and I would go sneak Pringles out of the pantry. But just enough so that she wouldn’t notice any are missing. I also used to take extra hard candies from the candy bowl at church and hide them in my shoes until I got home. I’m starting Carnivore this Saturday 7/1/23 and pray I can finally be delivered.
The Carnivore life (I'm hesitant to call it a diet because i hate diets and they don't work) has been amazing for me. I have an autoimmune disorder that I've never been able to keep in check but is in full remission since beginning this lifestyle about 2 months ago. I haven't even increased my level of exercise yet and I'm already down almost 30lbs. My sleep quality has improved, I don't need as much food, my energy is through the roof, I have no joint pain anymore, my mood has improved, I don't get hungry, I don't have cravings and oddly enough, my sense of smell has actually gotten better.
That’s wonderful! Keep it up!!
Hi, I call it my carnivore lifestyle as yes it’s not a diet but a new way of eating that changes your life 😊
The first definition in the dictionary is that 'diet' is anything that you habitually eat. What we eat is our diet.
The second definition is some sort of temporary restriction.
It's another of those words that has an undeserving negative connotation.
Just use whatever term you feel positive about! 😊
I just turned 52 and this sounds just like my life. Minus the smell issues! Carnivore life is freedom ❤
I agree completely!
It is not expensive you’re not buying all that other stuff.
Right?! All the extra cakes, cookies and ice cream hello. Not to mention all the snacks!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Is it less expensive? Now that you're not buying all that other stuff?
You sacrifice life for Life. It's worth it.
Still gotta feed all the other family
Just ur now eating triple the meat u did if not quadruple
I can relate to the cupcake binge. Last Christmas right before I took control of my diet I ate about five dozen rice krispy treats over the course of one week.
You can tell this lady is kinda manic, but her story is raw and honest and resonates. Thanks.
Carnivore diet has brought extreme peace to my inward parts also known as intestines, stomach and colon. It's a wonderful experience to experience peace in one's gut!! Of course, it's helpful to have peace with God!
I love this video, TFS! What I struggle with is to be “free” of always “thinking” about food, thinking the thoughts “oh, what am I going to eat”. I want to conquer always thinking about food/eating. This is the freedom I seek. Been carnivore 3 weeks and definitely feel less like bing eating but I still always “think” about food ugh. I want a new mind and pray everything beautiful from there will follow. ❤️
I have this too with some other thoughts and doubts 🙄
I’ve been on keto/ carnivore for 2 years and I always always think about food. Still. I so envy people who can say that they are never hungry… I could eat almost all the time. I don’t, but I could easily.
Give it time. It will decrease over time. Maybe a lot of time. Make sure you're eating enough. The thoughts will calm down when your lower brain and your physical body and your brain start to believe you will feed it well, after years of feeding it junk.
I could eat all the time too. I just try to kind of schedule my meals in my head to remove those thoughts. If I know when and what I’m eating it helps me to not think about it so much.
@@serena.carnivore same here, it’s always on my mind, especially if I’m not busy. It’s never too early or too late for me, I’d eat any time.
Oh, I can tell this is going to be worthwhile video from the intro, something I can relate to. Have a great weekend and keep the life changing messages coming our way! ❤ 🥩
Thanks for the email and for the uplifting comments Elle! Have a beautiful weekend :)

Great interview! Really great content. You both are so vibrant, and I appreciate your candor and generous sharing. Thank you both so much! I'll be listening to this one again and again.
Thank you so much!
This was another great interview . Thanks Lillie
Thanks so much Jay! :D
I was a binge eater. Terrible. I would uncontrollably eat all of my sons Easter Eggs then have to go to the shops to replace them before he found out 😩😩😩. Then one day they had sold out of the one that was his favourite and I had to import it from another country because i was too embarrassed to say I had eaten it ALL. Shameful.
Great video, Lillie! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this. I am her age so hearing this and others improving gives a ton of encouragement.
Thank you so much for watching!
Great interview ladies appreciate it
Great interview! I use carnivore and it’s totally eliminated my battle with Crohn’s disease! Also some skin rashes disappeared. Been a game changer for my health! If you ever need someone on the show to ramble on about the outdated American medical system and the benefits of process free diets let me know! ;)❤
Amazing!
That’s so wonderful!
If you're only eating 900 calories, your metabolism slows down over time so you can survive on 900 calories. If you then eat more calories than your metabolism is used to, you start to put on weight until your metabolism catches up. This is why the TDEE calorie calculators can be off by HUNDREDS of calories. The only way to KNOW your "calories out" is to track your weekly "calories in" and see what the scale is doing. Learn about "reverse dieting" and you can mitigate that rapid weight gain after a period of caloric restriction.
Amen amen amen. Thank you for doing this video.
This is exactly what I think is wrong. This is so helpful! I don’t think I’ve been eating enough! I’m going to try to go back to eating 3 times per day! Thank you so much!!!!!!!
Thank You Beautiful Ladies 💝🌻
Sadly I had to give up strict carnivore, it just became financially impossible to continue (a kilo of rice costs 2.50 and lasts 4 days, a kilo of ground beef 12 Euro and lasts 2 days).
It's HARD to not overeat when half your food is rice and vegetables, you just don't feel full on those things. It's almost like they go through the stomach as fast as you can shove them in...
I try to eat meat only every other day, and the other day 50-50 meat and rice/vegetables.
The main thing it helped me with is isolating all my food allergies, by cutting out everything and reintroducing stuff one at a time it's easy to find out what makes you sick...
Awesome vid again
I struggle to eat enough calories for sure. This is my second round trying this..fist time went in using 'priming'. It was way off puting and I wasnt using mearly enough fat..gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks.. I'm tring again, due to a joint issue from my hips down. After a week, I feel sooo much better (I was already on lazy Keto before). So I didn't experience a lot of symptoms. I'm not loosing or gaining right now, but "I can walk". So this is a BIG DEAL.
I’m trying again too, hoping if I eat more maybe I’ll feel better. Goal is to get rid of intermittent fasting. Starting tomorrow
Very informative! 👍👍
Whoo hooo! Have a rockin' day!
This comes so close to home 😢I had an eating disorder for about 30 years and dieted on and off all my adult life, I lost 8 stone when I turned 40 put it all back on within a year had a mental breakdown because of it and took another 4 years to stop binging, couldn’t maintain any weight loss, I started the carnivore lifestyle around the beginning of June this year and have lost 3 1/2 stone so far 😅I don’t have the cravings or inflammation any more, sleep and feel so much better, I am determined to stick to this way of eating from now on 😊
Whenever I hear "calories in; calories out" doesn't understand. Great information.
Interesting story and information👍🏻
Have a beautiful fall day!
Telling my friends how great I feel now… they clutch their carbs & look at me like I’m crazy. I really wish everyone would try it for just a couple weeks.
I agree!
Hey Jules…I like that…”clutch their carbs”…May I use that..?? 🎃
Ohhh and they try to tell you that you are being unhealthy too 😂
She has great recipes too‼️❣️
bacon grease and salt I love it
Serena is amazing!!!!!
You’re amazing-er!❤
I like the aspect of carnivoare that we can eat our way to good health. lol Wonderful.
Dry fasting is helping me to become more into carnivore and stopping the sweet cravings and overeating. I stopped water fasting bcuz its nowhere as effective as dry fasting at healing my body and reforming me mentally and emotionally. The changes in my feeling system I’m really blown out the water by. I even did a short about it.
I was 90% carnivore for the past year, still craving and eating fruit a few times a month, and eating, not bcuz I’m actually hungry, but bcuz of anxiety. Eating to feel occupied. And now, since I started IF fasting dry a month ago, I’m down 20lbs and about 95% carnivore and seemingly on my way to 100%. That now, I can eat one medium size steak and a few eggs at some other time during the day, and feel normal, almost no anxiety, and eat nothing more until the next day. Dry fasting is a dynamic tool to aid the carnivore diet and transforming it into a lifestyle.
I have the weird sense of smell and taste thing, too! My taste has been off for probably close to two years now, and smell has been extra-sensitive for maybe six months. I was never diagnosed with COVID, but guessing I’ve had it a couple times. I started looking into Carnivore by default when I didn’t want to eat salads anymore, they just didn’t sound good to me at all. I was curious if people can get by with eating hardly any veggies or fruits. Looks like I’m going to live!
Yep!!
Not only live, but live well!
I almost thought i needed to start doing 24 to 72 hr fasts in my lifestyle when i saw the scale go up. Its only been 2 weeks. 😅 im glad i put in the work and found this video.
From day one, You start feeling Very healthy, deflamation start the Very night You start. It's amazing
This happened to be as well, im roughly 25kg overweight but ive still had multiple people ask me if i lost weight, i figured it was this.
Don't track calories. Stop weighing yourself. It's freeing.
Agree on the shrimp but I melt butter and when it’s starting to get harder I dip my shrimp in it for my sauce.
I save money by taking advantage of sales
Plus very little waste now. So much money was thrown away with veggies
Wow! I know what you mean. Every week (pre-carnivore) when I cleaned out my refrigerator, I was throwing away so much. 😬🤦♀️
I appreciate hearing Serena’s story, and I can relate to a lot of it. I’m actually on day 3 of carnivore after being vegan for 7 years. When she mentioned that she gained weight in the beginning, I find it hard to believe that the cause wasn’t excess calories. A calorie surplus regardless of the source will cause weight gain and vice versa, a calorie deficit regardless of the source will cause weight loss. Shawn Baker also mentions this as being rooted in science. A professor at Kansas State University proved this in what he dubbed the “Twinkie diet” where he placed himself in an 800 calorie deficit eating nothing but processed sugary foods for 10 weeks. In his experiment, he lost 27 lbs. I suspect dairy might have been the cause of Serena’s weight gain. If you’re doing carnivore, limit dairy intake because it is very calorically dense and it is not as satiating as meat. It’s very easy to go over your calories on a carnivore diet if you eat too much dairy.
Pul
Eeeeeeeze
Srsly?
How was she only 12 lbs overweight eating the way she was??
So true !!!
We are the same age! I will be 50 in April and I am on day 21 of carnivore. I came from a very poor background and grew up on the things mentioned, top ramen, mac and cheese. RIP mama Joy. You did your best. No shade. Anyway I started developing a little bit of a weight problem at about age 12 and my mom discouraged me from eating because she didn't want me to be constantly 30-lb overweight like her. You won't believe this but for the most part I've done omad since I was 14. My thyroid developed nodules when I was about 30 and that's probably due to not enough calories. Anyway I haven't lost any weight yet and I've been very strict. It's difficult because I'm eating all I can, chunk of butter in my decaf. After I lift weights I have eight big shrimp cooked in butter and cream. 8 oz of ribeye for dinner. This is an example of yesterday. Maybe some more butter in my herbal tea at night. I just can't physically eat more. I'm 5'8" and 173 lb. I've been fighting the same 20lb for 30 years. I do look younger than my age and I attribute that to all the fasting and autophagy but it's time to nourish and heal now. I do notice my face is much less puffy so that's something. I don't find a diet has been that hard to stick to, but it is the first time in my life I've actually eaten when I'm hungry as opposed to grinding through it until dinner.
How do I figure out what is 60-80% fat?
Yeah, one year and fell off the wagon. Half gallon chocolate 🍦 ice cream gone in one 🌙 night. It was at least GMO free. Now ,I feel like I got hit by a buss
That Covid side effect sounds like literal torture. I'm super sensitive to smell...I can't imagine how awful that was for her. Bless her heart, I feel for her having to battle this. You can't NOT eat.
Yes, I had COVID in Jan 2020, but it wasn't until two years later that I realized a smell I kept encountering that made me feel sick was NOT a chemical change in the formulations of many common products I used to like the smell of but actually just common ingredients that COVID had caused to smell differently to ME! Now I don't have any way to avoid the smell bc I don't know which ingredient(s) have changed for me, but at least it is easier to accept psychologically, now that I understand. But I realize, when I hear stories like hers, how really LUCKY I am!
I just try to avoid the things that smell yucky. I still feel sick from smells a couple of times per week though.
Omgosh… I have/had the same thing with the awful taste and smell post Vid! I only liked sugary foods too. I still won’t eat some of my old favorite foods like vegetables and fruit. I still have some of that nasty smells and tastes… but most is better. It will be a year next week. Thankfully I love the taste of beef! Still can’t seem to do fish or chicken. 3 months doing mostly carnivore.
I hope it gets better soon!
I've just started and am using carb manager app as a guide. Do you think this is a good app?
Just curious what is a good amount of cheese per day? This is a hard one to cut down. I can't cut out cheese.
I don't believe there is a hard rule on how much cheese to have each day. I would think 2 ounces of cheese would be plenty but it more depends on all the other foods you eat in a day combined rather than just one singular food item :)
I’m 1 year post parosmia now and I can finally eat onions, garlic is a no. I can’t do pepperoni still or meats like that. But I’ve been carnivore for almost 6 months. Funny enough I swear the septum piercing did help. Then I did carnivore for 6 weeks last summer and it definitely helped a bit. Now I can do coffee too. Peanut butter, banana, garlic, and chocolate we’re definitely no’s for the past year. Fruit is mostly back to normal but I don’t eat it really so idk about banana and obviously I’m not going to eat chocolate or peanut butter. I may incorporate garlic again when I can.
I would love to know how you find out how you figure your calories and macros. Can someone help?
Do you include coffee in your diet or any caffeine?
I’ve never been able to eat garlic and onion. I don’t miss it.
I have parosmia. It has healed like 80%. I can't eat chocolate, drink coke, cream cheese is getting better, and McDonald's burger taste bad still. Other than that, it has healed through my S.A.D. diet. I try to go carnivore but it gets expensive even with just ground beef.
I believe we are actually saving money by eating this way.
@@serena.carnivore I’m about 3 months into carnivore and I agree!
Medical bills are expensive. Not having the energy to do your best work and live your best life is expensive too - financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I find that since I’m not eating junk food or drinking alcohol, I’m actually spending less on nourishment. However, I did have to spend money on a new wardrobe because all of my old clothes are too big now! I love what carnivore has done for me, my wallet, and my wardrobe too! Not to mention my physical and mental health. :)
Awe, don't worry about me guys. I'm just another spectator. Not one of the main characters. If the universe wanted me to eat just meat, I would. Right now all I can do is drink more water and eat less sugar. But thanks guys.
serena, tell us exactly specifically what do U eat on carnivore. it's not working.3yrs .
So do you eat poultry and fish? Sounds so restricting. Plus I can’t have dairy so butter and cheese is out
Same.
So she supplements with vitamins, for the fruit & veggie nutrients ? And what about effects on pertinent organs ?
That's very common to go up first
So how should you figure out how much to eat? I was keto and usually only eat two meals a day, sometimes one.
I do 3 or 4 small meals. It works better for me. I just couldn’t do 1 or 2 meals as I hate feeling really full up. I eat about 30% protein calories and 70% calories from fat give or take.
This video certainly does have value for everyone. Personally speaking - meat healed my acid reflux, my carb addiction, obesity, insulin resistance , changes in vision, low blood sugar, gallbladder, pancreatitis and kidney problems. As a result I'm able to find the time to conduct research regarding a hypothesis I have regarding one possible fundamental reason as to why many members of both the Greatest Generation and the Baby Boomer cohort were both so late at beginning a KETO journey In one word: Popeye. Beginning in 1929, the creators and publishers of the comic strip and the cartoons began a campaign of what perhaps can be referred to as pro-vegan "Popeye-ganda." part of the popular culture zeitgeist for decades. Popeye of course claimed he was "strong to the finich 'cause I eats me Spinach." As a result, countless parents encouraged their children for decades to "eat your vegetables so you'll be strong like Popeye." Remember also that it was common for kids to watch Popeye cartoons between arriving home from school and sitting down to dinner. Talk about timing. To counterbalance things somewhat, of course, the character Wimpy was something of a carnivore with his preference for hamburgers he couldn't pay for.
This is so true!
What kind of fat are we supposed to be eating and how is the ratios measured. Need the complete picture to be able to do this properly please?
I don't quite understand the 80/20. how do you add more fat? I do think I'm under eating. which program do you track your food?
I track mine using “chronometer” it’s the most accurate I believe. I eat fatty cuts of meat and add some butter, egg yolks are great. I have egg yolk and 15g butter in one or 2 cups coffee a day. It’s like a latte i love it. Also have a little cream, some cheese but not too much. Bacon and pork belly. Crispy chicken skins.

I hear a lot of people in carnivore World talking about oh I can't tolerate this or I can't tolerate that or I'd like to add this into my diet but I can't for me it's completely different I don't even want anything else. Just give me a steak or some brisket or some meat or some cream
I have no interest in cookies or garlic or onions or anything a cake, bread is a yuck all I want is meat so I know I found my space. I know where I'm where nature intended me to be and I'm happy. I'm not forgoing anything to live the carnivore lifestyle. l eat everything I want and only the things I want
cool story
I crave meat now.
People on videos always say things like you need to eat more fat. But nobody ever tells you how to do it. I have been eating 5 slices of bacon and 4-5 eggs for my first meal around 11:00 and usually a 20 oz ribeye steak for my 2nd at 17:00. I saw some body composition changes at first but weight loss has been minimal. And now non-existent. I’m always happy for the great success others have. I just wonder what I am doing wrong.
You may be not eating enough or your body could be trying to heal. I have been on carnivore for about a month and I haven’t lost wt. and maybe even gained some (I don’t weigh myself) I go bye how my clothes fit. I have a lot of gut issue, hormonal issues/thyroid, histamine, psoriasis and just trying to heal my body. I’m waiting on a couple of test for my gut and hoping we can find the problem and then hopefully work on that and then maybe some wt will come off. Good luck to you.
Thanks for your insights. I have been doing carnivore for 6 months. I eat between 2200-2500 calories per day. So I think I’m eating enough. But maybe too much protein. That’s why I had a comment on higher fat. I don’t have autoimmune issues but probably have gut issues due to no gallbladder since 1989. I just signed up to work with Judy Cho to find out what is going on.
@@retiredrailgirlswift145 yes Stephanie keto person says that exactly. Too much protein not enough fat stalls weight loss. Seems counterintuitive but it’s apparently true 🤷🏻♂️
@@jodyjackson5475 ahh but you have done the same thing every one does, not enough info. How much fat and fat from WHAT?
Fat from the meat only get fatty cuts, butter, egg yolks. I eat egg yolks more than the whole egg. So if making scrambled eggs I’ll do 2 eggs and 2 extra yolks added butter
WHEN PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW MUCH IT COSTS...Tell them this "Eat your food as medicine, So you don't have to eat your medicine as Food!" 1. You eat less because you become fuller, faster. 2. It stops the snacking on junk foods. 3. You eat less often which stops your insulin from spiking, as it does everytime you eat anything, or put anything in your mouth.
So, you basically save money in the shorter, longer run on things... The good for your foods has gone up dramatically with biden inflation, especially my beloved butter...but Im eating more butter everyday and Im not as hungry for longer stretches of time. Steak and butter gal helped explain that and boy does it work. I never thought I would enjoy sucking on a stick of butter driving around for work...and the looks when other drivers at a light sees me with a stick of butter in my mouth...then the smile they see on my face makes them laugh!
Today is my 1st day starting carnivore way of eating...im nervous about gaining weight because my main reason for going carinvore is to loose weight....how DO i know if im eating enough meat?? And fat ???...WHAT FATS SHOULD I BE EATING??
Go over to Dr Ken Berry's channel. He has a whole playlist dedicted to carnivore. He answers these types of questions and many many more, and he explains things simply to the point. He also has a good sense of humor. Go check him out.
I've gone right off the rails with carnivore, which i started in march. My sugar cravings and dairy addiction has gone through the roof, and i've been stuffing my face with biscuits (cookies). I cant control it at the moment, i'm completely adrift, and getting fatter by the day.
Were you eating enough meat? In the beginning of my carnivore journey, i got sugar cravings as i wasn't eating enough plus exercising heavily. Once i started eating, especially more fat, i was able to gain control on the sugar cravings.
@@i-am-that-what-i-am i think i was having enough meaT but i have consistently struggled with the fat, getting it from dairy rather than the fat off a steak...
Just started Carnivore. Feeling very hungry despite eating meat. Is that okay to eat like 1 pound plus per meal.
mate that's perfect, I eat even more, just remember to not eat too much lean meat, I made that mistake at fist, was eating mostly pork wihout too much fat and even tho I was eating a lot of meat i didn't eat fat and i was feeling as good as i feel now. Now mostly eating burger patties and pork with butter and lots of eggs because these are the cheapest options. Ah yes also lots of raw dairy :D
Good luck, good wishes from me :)
Eat until you’re full at every meal!
More fat
Make sure you are eating enough fat and fatty cuts it’s more satiating
@@helenalovelock1030 I bring lean ground beef but add beef tallow and ghee so plenty of fat. Hunger part has got fixed now. It only happened during first week. Thanks.

Have a great day Mike!
I've always enjoyed her cooking shows on Instagram alongside Jess Randle. They've had guests like Bart Kay and Anthony Chaffee. Maybe you can be a guest there one day as well?
They do have great cooking videos! I told Serena if I cook something it has to be super simple LOL
@@LillieKane a burger pattie, maybe? ;-)
Farout! I now know that I have been under eating Fat
20 cupcakes?, ummmm can get pastcthis statement!
Why is cheese not good?
Tried carnivore last week from sad diet and struggling
It definitely takes a couple weeks to shake the Sugar and carb cravings. The second week was way better for me and make sure you get lots of fat. If you drink coffee put a tablespoon or two of butter in it and blend it so you start off the day with lots of healthy fats
Hang in there. You really have to give it at least 30 days. I was lucky, I only struggled with the “keto flu” for a few days during my 2nd week of carnivore.
Make sure you have enough salt.
Being carnivore for about 2 months I missed my periods which was regular before
maybe you don’t eat enough fats, which are essential for a proper hormonal function
Proper fat intake, and also organ meats

I don't understand how eating too little calories causes weight gain. Concentration camp prisoners who were starved were skeletal. Anorexics (true anorexics...not chubby folks who cycle w/ binging) are skeletal. I would have to have a camera on someone 24/7, & observe them, before I'd believe they are gaining weight on calorie restriction, because, like I said, any accounts of someone being locked in a cage, & withheld food, always leads to a skeletal person. Not a fat person.
I would guess it's because the food that she was eating in between fasts was so nutrient dense and her body was holding on to all of it? I've also noticed it's generally a female issue. hormones hormones hormones!
@@piperuk5366 If the body were capable of holding onto food in that way then starved prisoners wouldn't be skeletal. I think the body staying fat because it thinks you're in a famine is a dietary myth. The show survivor is a good example too of what happens to people in calorie deficits...every single contestant on that show looses weight. I don't doubt hormones can be an issue when someone is full of worthless calories (like chips & cookies), but no one will gain weight when in a true deficit. If someone has substantial proof of otherwise I'd like to see it.
There's a huge difference in the body's response between NO calories and SOME calories
@@i-am-that-what-i-am "Some" calories is relative. You can't gain weight if you're in a true deficit. If you're gaining weight while eating small meals then you're too sedentary, & eating low quality calories such as grains & sugar.
Simple. After a while, the body shuts down, like period stops and if you continue, your metabolic rate plummets so that you survive on less. Continue low calories and your weight will shoot up. Happened to me three times after weight loss of 30 kg. Now I’ve lost 48 kg and that didn’t happen.
Was it covid? ......or the jab???
What exactly is wrong with cheese? If you're eating good cheese and have no allergy issues, cheese can be good for you. Aged cheeses are high in K2.
Have you tried Ivermectin, my mom thinks that helped her of the Covid smells and tastes, she did a low dose for like 6 weeks and that’s it.
Also...try nicotine to correct taste and smell (Dr ardis)
I really really wanted to listen to this guest speaker, interested in what she has to say but she speaks so fast it's really difficult to follow
Epic cute 🙂
Great video....she talks fast though...
Playback .75x lol!
What vitamin D supplement do you recommend?
Look for bioidentical creams…
I really like that.....I am a Carnivore....Carnivores don't eat that. Thanks anyway.
Really hope this is working for ya'll but for me ANY sort of extreme food restriction ends in binging. Again - best wishes but the best diet is the one you can stick to. Have seen too many friends rebound to heavier off of keto.
This isn't "keto."
@@ellek7233 yea it's worse/more restrictive imo.
The fact that it’s not keto is was makes it doable and easier to stick to. I’m an abstainer, maybe your friends are too. I can’t have any carbs or I just want more. They didn’t gain the weight back by eating keto. They gained the weight back when they went back to those awful carbs that made them overweight in the first place. If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got! If they had stayed keto, they would probably not have gained the weight back.
@@serena.carnivore carbs don't cause weight gain a caloric surplus does that's the law of thermodynamics and is not up for debate. If your friend continued to eat at maintenance calories regardless of the macro breakdown weight would stay the same. None of the macros are inherently bad/evil. Eating a balanced whole food diet 80/90% of the time and enjoying some stuff from time to time is much more sustainable imo.
As a former vegetarian (20+years) and carb addict, I was very surprised to not have any cravings after the first week or two. Amazing!
If you can’t binge on a rib eye, chicken wings, or pork ribs, I think you need cooking lessons
Maybe that's why you're binging on it. Hyper palatable seasonings. With just really good salt, it's really hard to overeat it. And I'm a food addict, too. It was the spices and recipes that trigger me. When I switched to just redmonds salt (and plenty of fat), pure deep-seated satiety, and no more binging.
Not everyone can handle that much fat-especially if no gall bladder-
Enzyme and apple cider vinegar before each meal. I do not have a gallbladder and I do this and can now eat well over 150g of fat a day with zero issues. People also benefit with Ox Bile. Just gotta research and see what works for you! It absolutely can be done!
Eminem wouldn´t stand a chance against this guest…
🤣🤣🤣
This woman can really talk really fast. Take a breath. Lilly can you have male guests? Not all Drs.
Thanks for the feedback! I have lots of male guests (not all doctors) like Jason Wittrock, Drew Manning, Coach Bronson, Steve Rimmer, Michael Mason, etc but you're right I haven't had a male interview in the last month or so and I will reach out to more! Thanks again for the message, it's very helpful!
