I think that Trixie is God's way of trolling Lucifer. He's known nothing but sin, and avarice and all of that crap, and here comes this itty, bitty human that is simply crazy about him....just because he's himself. And the clueless dumb cluck has no way of defending against her. I love this kid.

Lucifer does naturally what I do as a game. I'm the "naughty adult" who encourages them to do slightly naughty things (not enough to get them in trouble, just barely what they can get away with) and go so over the top on my more outrageous suggestions that they know I'm joking. The parents tolerate me as a future investment - later on when _I'm_ the one who tells them something's a really bad idea, it will carry a lot more weight than someone whose always stopped them from having fun.

He treats her like a little pet. Plays fetch with her, gives her treats to stray her away from him, wonders if she has a leash, and calls her "Child" in a way thats like "Come here boy/girl" Lol.
Now that I think about it... I guess its his way of attempting not to get attached to her, since he has issues with any sort of relationship with emotions.
The Devil.. Lucifer Morningstar himself... unsure how to treat a child. I think what makes him uncomfortable is the absolute innocence found in children... especially this adorable little girl! It reminds him of the innocence that he once had, long ago, in Heaven. That was before he rebelled against God, got 1/3 of the Angels on his side, and started a War in Heaven. He lost, of course, but he lost in more ways than one. Most of all, he lost the God-Given innocence that he had possessed so very long ago, before iniquity was found in him. He wanted to run things, and be like the Most High (God). That is something that he now hates-Innocence. And guess who's full of that particular quality?!? Trixie!!!!!

The show either had a very good casting director, or they just got incredibly lucky. The little girl that plays Trixie, is actually a pretty good actor.

Not all kids are bad - the ones that are, it's usually because the parents are bad. For me, I don't mind kids until they turn into teenagers - at which point they should all join the army.

@@morgangobin9985 not always, recessive Genes. A family member may have had dark hair in Chloe's line and a family member may have had brown eyes in Dan's line. It happens. No one in my immediate family is ginger apart from my grandad and I have streaks of ginger in my natural hair.
They had another actor for Dan at first (he was recasted)

Trixie played her acting role well in the Lucifer series. The moments Lucifer/Trixie had in this series were really cute/funny/adorable. It was fun seeing Lucifer getting himself adjustable with Trixie.
Trixie played a fairly prominent role right from the beginning as a result of being Chloe/Dan's daughter.
As the entire cast crew of Lucifer was given an appropriate ending in season 6, it would have been nice/proper for Trixie to also have to the same. As for Trixie case her ending was in a limbo as to what happened to her after all Trixie was equally an important cast in the series (being Chloe/Dan's daughter).
Well anyway there could have been many reasons as to why Trixie's ending was such but her role acting was excellent. It was adorable watching Lucifer/Trixie fun as well especially when Lucifer was adjusting himself with Trixie.
Binged all seasons last month and I am sure I will again. Loved it.
Can’t wait till season 5 lol Lucifer playing step dad to her while dating her mum this will be brilliant if he is the king of hell and wants chloe as his queen this officially does make her princess Trixie lol

Lucifer despises children but in his very unique way he adores Trixie, the same for Maze.
This part is fantastic, Lucifer and little Trixie are as far apart as they are and Trixie is so charming. I loved them so much. Lucifer, Chole, Trixie, Mazikeen, Linda, Amenadiel, Ella, Daniel ... and I could list them. It’s such a fantastic series, and these freckles, not only fell in love with the series, but also themselves🥰🥰🥰🥰.

While Lucifer doesn’t like her much at first he gradually warms up to her and is her friend and tries to comfort her in his own hilarious yet sweet way. They’re sort of like a father and daughter; 😁🙂🙃
Also, it’s ironic seeing The Devil being tricked by a little girl and hugged. I bet if someone were to threaten Trixie he would move the fires of hell or scare someone senseless.

That's the only problem with 10 episodes you need to concentrate on the plot. Not much room for throw away episodes with other characters. A terrorist hostage situation could see some interesting combinations, SWATT with Chinese and Russian muscle working together.
