It's Steinway & Sons...
So how does it feel to you in first person vs say $250k normal concert grand? It's hard to tell by the sound of this recording.
@@LogioTek Pianos get this expensive, not really due to a difference in sound or response/action, but due to being pieces of art and/or the history of the piano.
@@J.AshtonMorgan I understand there is diminishing return in sound quality but for 10x the price there better be audible difference or else you can take your $ to a different brand to get that sound difference for the price
@@LogioTek I'd wager that it sounds worse than a standard $170k Steinway because I doubt that they allow people to play on it much at all, let alone tune it vigorously. If you're spending more than $200k on a piano, it's not because the sound is better, or at least not yet. Maybe someday, though.
@logiotek Consider it a piece of art instead... The design is a model D, which is around 220k. I highly doubt it has any other feature with it either.

I know, but I don't always have 48 hours a day to practice. I'm struggling with the 3rd movement of the Moonlight sonata, she can play that and jazz it up. I'll just try my best and see where that takes me. Thanks for the words of encouragement.😅👺👍

This piano is the most expensive single piece from Steinway and Sons, called "Pictures at an exhibition" (< Mussorgski) from 2017
