    There is a much better way to move the last and the first clone. Deactivate "Loop" in the Cloner object and use the "Start" and "End" sliders. That way you don't have to change the spline.

    Those working in the new version will be facing the issue with the bridge so to fix that... Subdivision Surface > Connect.. put sweep under connect then make it editable(worked for me)
    Hopefully this will help :)

      @@GlennRegister the section from where you create Boole object you will find "Connect"(below the Boole option). Just make a connect object & then drag the sweep object (i.e the bridge thing which includes the rectangle & the spline) under the connect object.. this will make it a single object..then you can convert that connect to editable object.. from their you can follow the tutorial.
      I think this will clear your doubts.. :)

    • @eliprenten7066
      @eliprenten7066 3 роки тому

      If you mean the part at 6:24 then you may have to double check the 'Polygon extrusion' settings in the Bevel options at the bottom right.
      Alternatively you can just have the polygons selected and use the Inner extrude tool to get a smaller inner group of polygons. Then move that new selection down a bit. Same result.

They are not acting like the one in your tutorial where only one side of the face is extruding .

When began to extrude , it extruded both sides of the faces( up and down) even when i checked "preserve groups".

    • @twistereli
      @twistereli  7 років тому

      Thank you :)
      About you color problem... it all really depends on what you're making. But most of the time you want to stay to somewhere at the middle right side of the big color selection "square"/field. Avoid mixing grey (left side in square) in your bright colors, and also fluorescent colors (top right in the square) often don't work well.
      If you need more help it would be easy if you could add an image with it so I can see what is wrong.

    • @twistereli
      @twistereli  6 років тому

      Surprising that there isn't much content on this topic for such a popular tool as Maya. I have no idea about the process there, I guess it's a little less efficient.
      But I'm pretty sure you can export this scene as a .obj file in C4D, which should work in Maya.

    • @mayankghanti3685
      @mayankghanti3685 6 років тому

    • @twistereli

      It should be possible in some way. The light in this example is just sunlight on non-reflective materials, so that should be possible in any renderer.

      Hi! Almost there, its written as "Eli". Hence the Twister"Eli".
      I'm happy to hear you liked my video, but I'm not sure what you mean with your question.
      If you want to use parts like the trees or bridge in another scene... you can just select them, then copy (ctrl+C) and paste (ctrl+V) them to your other scene.
      Switching between scenes is easy, at the top menu choose "Window" and there you can see the scenes that are currently opened.
      Hope this answers your question!
