This edition of the Copycat Card had a big twist, as Checkmate Trials added it's own little flare to things. However, I thought that the shift away from special weapons would have added a greater variety to people's primary weapon choices... but it seems EVERYONE is caught up using the Igenous Hammer Hand Cannon. Copycat cards are so fun to watch only because there’s always the chance of you getting some new light with blue weapons😂

4:51 no joke, the unending/igneous is pretty solid. I used it a while back before I stopped playing and got flawless the 2 times I gave it a shot. Pretty reliable in checkmate as a double primary setup for those who’ve been looking for a good load out.
I've never used Devil's Ruin. I might have to give it a try. I ran Messenger and Trespasser this weekend and had a lot of fun.

What’re your thoughts on checkmate vs base Osiris gameplay? The way I see it the main thing that separates destiny from other fps is the “space magic”. Meta (sandbox) makes things fluctuate/funky, but at its base I feel like destiny gameplay is enhanced or at least made unique by builds and the utilization of abilities. Love to know your thoughts

I love the copycat card. It’s the closest to me being flawless cause I try to catch ur streams and try to be carried but never get picked. But like I said I love the copycat card tho😊 and hope in the future I could go flawless
Use kinetic holster you reload over time and keep the headshot buff unless the mag goes to full

How is anyone able to go flawless with all that’s going on?
I think you struggle against bows because you don't play them enough and you don't know their weaknesses which are a lot. I main bows and so many people can wreck you in Checkmate because of the low damage.

I hate being able to swap mid trials game. One of the worst changes they ever made. Was so much better when the equipment used to lock.

They would’ve nerfed it on release if they wanted to (they basically did with the 120 nerf back then) but it’s not that oppressive. Only this season bc of the artifact.
I beat x2 top 0.1 3kd and 3.5 kd players last week it felt better than my flawless lol im only a 1.5 trials kd player

No they simply backed out 1st round or 2nd, I even matched Zavalr 3x while she was streaming and even she noticed it lol

People using the same 5 weapons over and over is the most boring thing I've seen, nobody wants to have fun trying new stuff or play different, I've Have gotten flawless many times with the most meme and none meta stuff I was able to find and was fun
