Many years ago, I watched workers clean out a brownstone in New York City. They ultimately uncovered an urn - containing ashes - unscrewed the lid, and poured and flushed the ashes down the toilet. There's nearly always a underlying issue that provokes hoarding. We shouldn't judge as we're all just a traumatic event away from being there ourselves. I so enjoy watching you, Alex. I've junked for years and would help for free if closer.
There are times that I think the owners or estate managers of these homes should give you the contents for free as payment for cleaning the homes out. Especially when you do it as quickly as you do! They would have had to pay someone to come clean out that place, and all the valuable things would have been thrown out anyway. You are doing a great service and keeping things out of the landfill.
True, others I've watched like Paper and Moose, Taco Stacks have done very similar but the people pay them for the cleanout. Although this was different because they were collectors, lots wasn't really worth much esp the china now. I think they should have given you the contents for cleaning it out or at least only charge you a few k.
Taco stacks and paper and mouse have to pay if they want anything or they get items as payment for doing the work on most of their cleanouts because they work for other people - Alex works for himself hence the reason he offers to purchase contents

I am almost 70 years old now, and started my cleaning up a couple of years ago, recently visited a place where I had left few suitcases and boxes, recovered my books but still had somethings left there again, at home I have only what I use every day, so hopefully it won't be hard for future residents of this property to take living here~:>)
Hey from USA GEORGIA, Alex and family I just wanted to tell y’all how much I just love to watch all of your projects and I like to see how much the children are growing up thank you all for sharing love it ❤
Finally catching up on your videos. Wow! This place is incredible! And my grandma had the original Uncle Sam piggy bank when I was growing up. What a cool find!
You two are amazing! So quick, so respectful, so efficient. At first, when you go into such a house (this was hoarder house no. 3? No. 4?) And you start picking in this room, sorting through a few boxes in the other room, driving loads and loads of things to charity and still all seems full - I think, wow, that is going to take many weeks. And just a week later - you are more than half through!
Great job! It is entertaining to see other people’s old stuff. You are correct, we don’t need so much that it crowds us out of our loving space, and stops us from having visitors, etc. Re the ouija board: Many of us found out the hard way that that they are access to undesirable spiritual influences. I wish that they would not be sold any more.
They are easy enough to make if you really want to go down that route. Did it once, no desire to do it again. I swear I heard a woman crying downstairs the day after but I was the only one home.
Glad to see that you have a least one room done you and Patrick have worked so hard to the point of getting sick you two must have inhaled some much dust hopefully all your hard work will workout to bring a profit on your investment till next time ❤from Australia and don't forget the attic !!

I'm sure if you asked the Ouija board, the spirits would tell you that the estate managers were very relieved when you and Patrick showed up! You're doing everything with such respect! Even the spirits would say, wow, cleaning too, these guys are all right!
You know, you keep finding so much retro stuff, I keep thinking of this as "That 70's House". I sincerely would take that Ouija board outside and burn it. I hate those things.
I was just imagining coming into a garage or room, switching on the light, and there's The Predator you forgot was standing in the corner. Oh, and there's a Ouija board there too. Eeeeeeek!

Hi Alex, the house is starting to look like a home again. Great job. Hat's off to you and Patrick. Don't forget to check the attic. LOL Take care and God bless.
I am almost 70 years old now, and started my cleaning up a couple of years ago, recently visited a place where I had left few suitcases and boxes, recovered my books but still had somethings left there again, at home I have only what I use every day, so hopefully it won't be hard for future residents of this property to take living here~:>)
Hey from USA GEORGIA, Alex and family I just wanted to tell y’all how much I just love to watch all of your projects and I like to see how much the children are growing up thank you all for sharing love it ❤
5 days....WOW!! GREAT JOB PATRICK & ALEX...FEEL BETTER SOON.❤️🙏
Finally catching up on your videos. Wow! This place is incredible! And my grandma had the original Uncle Sam piggy bank when I was growing up. What a cool find!
Enjoy the comforts of family life for the weekend and fill up with good home-cooked food! Can't wait for the next episode! XXX
I always look forward to your clean out videos!
Good morning from New Zealand, 6am Friday here. Another Alexander video just dropped. Yah.
🎭Really good seeing you getting that house cleaned out🎉 And now your work continues😮 Get that money back❤
Ya'll have done an amazing job u have such a big heart always thinking of others
It’s incredible to see the amount of work that has been accomplished.
Hello again Alex and Patrick 🙋🏽.
👋
Glad to see that you have a least one room done you and Patrick have worked so hard to the point of getting sick you two must have inhaled some much dust hopefully all your hard work will workout to bring a profit on your investment till next time ❤from Australia and don't forget the attic !!
Missed seeing Bob the bottle man😢
You do an amazing job cleaning out a house, hope it’s profitable for you ❤️🥰
Good afternoon Alex!
Aex, in my mind there is absolutely no doubt you'll get your money back! Good watching progress. Can't believe what I've watched was over only 5 days 😱
I agree on buring the board!!!
I was just imagining coming into a garage or room, switching on the light, and there's The Predator you forgot was standing in the corner. Oh, and there's a Ouija board there too. Eeeeeeek!
It is amazing how quickly you two have cleaned out this house. It is very therapeutic watching how you tackle this type of issue as many of us get a bit of clutter in our lives from one time or another. Thanks for sharing all your hard work and adventures with us. Blessings to you and your family.❤❤❤
I can see how much work this is, but you are helping someone that is unable to do what you do! Honestly, I probably wouldn’t watch anyone else’s videos on this type of thing…you are the guy!
You Alex are one of the kindest and most loyal and generous people I've encountered. A good man and a true friend.
What a surprise and shocking discovery!! Hopefully the estate person comes quickly to retrieve those remains😳 God bless you Alex❤️
Just 5 days??! That's crazy! You guys worked like animals! You never fail to impress!
The Housing is beginning to look good. Great work, you two.
I hope the remains of those two souls have been dealt with dignity. RIP. And you and Patrick take care and be feeling better. Continued good luck on clearing that house and surroundings out.
You and Patrick are doing great on cleaning out the house. It will be done before you know it. I suggest that you take a U-Haul truck with trailer the next time that way you can get the rest of it all at once. Glad the ashes are finding a more suitable resting place. Have a great day
Alexander, we have one of my parents in the other parent's closet...waiting for the other parent's ashes to join hers in their final resting spot. We joke about my parent "coming out of the closet"! 😆
That's crazy about finding remains in the house!!! Hope you and Patrick feel better soon and I can't believe how much you have gone through in just 5 days!!
I am a new subscriber to your utube channel and could not be happier to find you and follow your journey. I have been try to get watch older videos. I love these videos.
Great work, Team CurInc! 👍 Loads of work (literally! 😉) Good luck on the Weather! Looking forward to the next installment! Thanks to all whom are involved!
I hope your weather does hold out. I just checked it. Your 22 F doesn't look good. Especially next to my 71F. I am sure you will get it done. You don't let anything get in your way. I am sure the people from the estate, were impressed with the hard work. You and Patrick did. Anybody who has known you for a while. Knows you do quality work. You and Patrick need to take care of yourselfs. No telling what kind of dust and germs. You stired up.💙💜
Literally cant believe how much you have done in 5 days. Well done.
Wow!! This is quite a difference in just five days! Kudos to you and Patrick for all the time, care and energy you have brought to this project! Feel better you two!! Peace to all...💙💜💙
