Hi Priya, Your video is very helpful and I was able to send 2 couriers via India Post from my hometown in India to Germany. You have clearly mentioned the steps to be followed and is really worth. My first courier delivered at my doorstep in Germany home address and the second one was held at the customs office like you said in the video. I got a letter from the customs office and as mentioned in the letter , I send an email stating the contents in the courier and requested them to send it over DHL. They did so and I got my courier delivered by DHL at my doorstep and paid some amount for their delivery.

Please use CN 22 OR CN 23 FORM while sending from India incase of bills not available. You can check this in India post office.

They had charged nearly 20€ at the time of delivery at the delivery point. Is that tax? Somewhere I learnt that if we specify that the content of the parcel is for gift purpose tax will not be levied. Is that true?

This happens sometimes, very difficult to track it. Did you check it in DHL sendungsverfolgung whether the packet is received? I assume you checked it in india post tracking. Am I correct ?

Thank you for this video . Do you know whom to contact if a document sent by the university(India) via Indian speed post is not delivered in Berlin?I have checked the status and it shows 'Not Delivered Missed Delivery-Deposit' and the location is Berlin.
Please track the same in DHL Sendungsverfolgung and also DHL for missing doxuments
@@VanakkamGermany Thank you for reply . i checked in DHL Sendungsverfolgung , the status shows 'Due to an address error the shipment could not be delivered. There has been an unsuccessful delivery attempt. The delivery person did not find the recipient at home: a replacement delivery to a family member or neighbor was also not possible. Depending on the country in question, the next step involves forwarding the shipment to a nearby post office/parcel shop or attempting delivery again.' on sept 27th . no updates after that .I'm not sure which DHL shop should I go , they have not mentioned it .

I sent my certificates to the wismar University on 03/january/2023 from kerala, india.
Upon tracking it is reached at frankfurt on 11/january/2023 and showing that held by cutoms. Until then no updates till now. Today is 24th of january...what should i do ? Its been 21 days....

I ordered a product 2nd April from usa through DHL
It reached to Delhi international mail centre where in tracking not showing sent to custom or custom clearance...after that it today reached to local post office through india post n they are saying that you have to pay 4000rupees for custome charges

Good point, I would recommend, one can visit there and open the packet in front of them. Hopefully you got a decent parcel and nothing else.

Liquid stuffs are not accepted by postal service, sometimes if the customs stops your baggage(which is very common) then you need to answer it, what’s that, what purpose are you using and so on.

In India Post it's showing "ur parcel is held by customs for enquiry"...i tried sending a parcel to my friend in Munich.

Posts gets held by customs officer randomly, it may take few more days to get released. You can’t do anything to it

I sent brief it's auslander certificate to my parents through DHL premium by paying €8 for fast delivery. Postal department told me in 5 working days it will deliver., but it has been 18days didn't reach the destination.
They said open complaint and investigation raised. So far no update either my complaint nor the investigation people.. Please suggest me what I can do in this.
