Clips taken out of context make it hard to judge the series. It really is funny and has serious plotlines that seemingly creep up on you. Just when you think it's just a gag series, that's when it punches you in the gut.

one of my favorite things is that an old lady in Gintama has the VA of Orochimaru and many times she can be seen in the background doing little shit like talking to snakes, waving her long tongue, other stuff like that.

yo nick. let me tell you something. gintama is my number one favorite anime. with each serious arc, it would cement its spot as your favorite anime. one more thing. in the top 10 of mal, gintama takes 4 spots. even the comedy is good.

It's super hard to make a "best Gintama moments" video because Gintama's humour and messages don't last just a moment, but the build up among that Episode or multiple Episodes. Many character-driven jokes and scenes are a culmination of what we have witness over the many Episodes, so it doesn't have the impact of watching just the scene. Besides the main 3, you have to understand who these characters are and how they have developed over time. Many characters have changed the way they act from their first appearance, with many of them starting off as serious characters in serious Arcs.

one of the anime's i recommend the most, you should watch Gintama. the first few episodes might not get you hooked, but around ep 50 it really drags you into it (this is what happened to me- lmao)

Gintoki (Gin-san) has the same voice actor as bowl cut hair dude Marlo from AOT.
His role as Gin-san is what made Sugita VERY famous and popular in Japan, giving him many roles in many anime ever since.

15:19 I am from Thailand. I think Thailand is land of smile because when the local people see foreigners, they cannot understand and speak to them in english so they tend to just smile at them. That was how my friends did when see foreigners. And another reason might be to attract foreigners to travel in Thailand.
