I wonder if you guys will start noticing familiar names because you've seen Golden Kamuy. I saw Gintama first so it wasn't until watching Golden Kamuy that a lot of the characters are named after real people from the Edo and Meiji periods. You might remember from Golden Kamuy that Hijikata was the best swordsman in the shinsengumi

Well, to be honest, Gintama's early episodes is just barely above average, but the later episodes or arcs would be a total masterpiece.
Welcome to Gintama! Most of the times it's dummy and NSFW comedy, but when they want to oh boy, this series can be one of the best and most serious fighting dramas ever. The topics they touch can also be pretty heavy and sad
