Cool project! I really like your restoration approach on the GTA. I am doing a similar restoration on a '69 Cougar XR7. Keeping the patina and getting everything working like it came out of the factory with a few subtle mods. Similar to your story my first car was a '68 Cougar so it has been fun working on the '69. BTW if the radiator is the original the top tank will have a FoMoCo stamped on it.

Congrats on the find of this car in this condition. We have a similar journey. My 67 coupe is mostly original and needs TLC.
