For me you finally put to rest where the Maserati Quattroporte sits.....NOT an Italian Jag but rather a four door Ferrari. Well said. ( ...btw....still loving my XK 5.0 n.a. Jag that your videos very much helped me decide on ....thanks!!..... muscle car in a tuxedo ( a very nice tux too)...lol!)
Absolutely, and the misidentification of them as a more muscle style luxury limo leads to maintenance neglect in many cases unfortunately. And glad to hear it!
Very briefly considered getting a diesel QP, but knew I'd get bored of it almost immediately, plus the entire idea is an affront to the cars' lineage. Diesels should be kept to the Ghibli etc. Haven't driven any of their newer generation cars as yet, but I definitely want to feature them. I hear pretty consistently bad things though unfortunately, mostly from the Chrysler quality...
@@beardsncars I like the Ghibli's looks and its proportions are more like the previous model QP that you featured here. I never really looked at their values, but I'd be interested to know what kind of Ghibli you could get for a late and well specced QP. In fact, I'm going to research this now. Might be interesting to compare those.
One yeah, on the motorway in a Porsche Boxster (exact car from the BnC episode), spun 180 degrees on black ice, knocked out from my head going through the drivers side window, and woke up to the rear wheels bent under the car, back to the future style after going into the centre concrete back end first
Surprisingly no issues aside from a bruise on the side of my head, and a strange tear where something had punctured right through the leather jacket I had on, but we could never figure out what it was

Have you ever considered the new Quattroporte or the Ghibli?

Can i ask a really random question: Have you ever been involved in a car accident?
I know it's a silly one, but I'm just curious.

Ooh that sounds nasty, hope you weren't too injured.
