Thanks! When I started playing bass I only used fingers:) It kinda sounds better to play songs like this with a pick but I don't think it's necessary :) Keep it up!
I usually like your videos but this one wasn't done very well. Tom Hoppus' bass lines are seldom anything to call home about. But at least he can play them very tightly. You have more groove then him so I think you would have fared better using a pick. Just my two cents. As I said, I like your stuff.

If you want a closer sound to the original recording you need a pick, but if you prefer the sound that the fingers can give play with the fingers.
