@Michael Moz and yet, that was the charm of old blink, all the fuck ups live were like a signature thing of blink and one of the reasons everybody loves them
I was going to make some snarky comment calling you a dork but the video finally got to the intro when I hit “reply” and I forgot how bad ass it is. I got all amped too ;-)
You can really tell that Mark is much happier playing older songs than the newer stuff. He always looks bored when I watch live shows, but here I see passion again.
When events happen in real-time it's hard to appreciate the significance of things. Back when these albums were coming out, I was just out of college and working tons of hours and trying to get myself figured out. I didn't have the time or inclination to really listen to the music closely or find out more who mark, tom and travis were. As the years have gone by I have enjoyed getting re-acquainted with their work and who these guys are as people. Thanks for hanging out with your fans Mark! You are one of the good guys in this world.
hell yea, 2002 - 2004 they were fuckin nutty live. i mean, they always were, but that era especially was so experimental, fast and just fuckin gnarly WHILE still doing more than just punk
Takes a lot practice but doable ! I used to play in a 90s-2000s cover band that did a few blink songs and the second guitarist would alternate pick. Just didnt have the same edge!
His vocals are seriously underrated, only now at 32 and a writer I feel and understand every word, he’s a magical and very talented writer, as so is mark when he really feels the music.
@@mattpickles89 everyone has cancer. Your body fights off cancers every single day. It's just at what speed it actually takes you. Mark is cheerful and functional. Welcome to life. Nobody is long for this world. Let me admire my hero for how he is. Not what you're focused on.
When this song starts I honestly feel like weeping. And it’s not just nostalgia. I remember feeling that way when the album came out. It’s infused with nostalgia now, yes. But it already felt like that when I first heard it. It’s so wonderfully weird. Their new album is delivering that as well. They’re absolutely phenomenal
Get well soon mark. I was 12 when my mom took me to see you guys at the coors amphitheater in san Diego. First concert ever and it was the greatest time. I loved the big FUCK sign in the beginning of the show 😊😊😊
Hey Mark, sound awesome 👌 I have your signature fender bass and signature guitar strap love it! Rocking an Ampeg 8x10 cab with my Kemper and your kemper pack through Feldman's stl pack! Keep rocking!
Toms palm muting; Marks bouncy bass tone; Travis and his monster drum parts = some of the best crafted songs ever.
Toms palm muting is so unique lol it sounds almost moist 😂
Semicolons why? Lmao
I know you’re excited and that’s great but if we’re being objective, it’s not one of the best songs ever crafted.
Laggers stop being a hater lmao not everyone is into Mozart 😜😜😂😂😂

Tom's songs :)
Some of the best times of his life, why wouldn’t he!?

Cut to it being 2023 and Mark Tom and Travis are back opening their shows with this song! Saw it live and tears came to my eyes. Blink forever
You can see Mark listening and being like damn this is a good song
I remember listening to this album
When it came out, I think I was in either 7th or 8th grade, and having this track on repeat. Still do!
He is trying to hold back the smile but is having so much fun
3:30 he couldn’t hold it back anymore :)
I love seeing him happy
Your music never gets old. Makes me fell like 15
True, i like them and green day
This is by far one of the most fun blink songs to play on bass
Feeling this is a blast too imo. Also Always. Mark doesn't get near enough credit for his fun, melodic basslines
Carousel
You have to listen mutt and always then
It’s always good to hear toms old voice
Travis searches for familylove
Tom searches the stars
Mark searches his soul

Nice 👍. I agree.
:')
mark stayed together for a kids
Tom Searches Alien btw...
I love @3:47 how hyped he gets remembering that little lick for the end of the bridge! Makes my day seeing him happy!
Seeing Mark learn how to play his own music is hilarious.
The intro to this song gets me amped as hell

Bass kicking in with that twangy D note. Love it. Love picking up the bass and jamming out some classic blink. No better feeling 😉

100% accurate. Fast and good. Plus his guitar tone was incredible!
He’s loving playing these old bangers you can see him trying not to smile the whole time aha
His smirk makes me so happy 😁
They could have made a music video for any of their songs and used them as singles, they are all that good!
Watching Mark here makes me feel so old. Warped Tour 98 is such a distant memory.
How old are u creep?
as a bassist, is amazing to watch this
