Man! I only have respect for you by sharing these video's and am happy that someone is showing it how to make a light gun. What type of light gun are you using (shell)?
Was thinking of doing a diy build of gun4ir that your vids are the only tutorials I can find for good reference but I know there were upgrades to Gun4Ir. Apart from black leds used for better tracking is it the same diy setup?
Simple and fast Tutorial! Great! Leaving my LIKE, because thanks to mainly your videos i managed to assemble my gun4ir! My next step will be a Gun4ir with Top Shot Elite!
hello, my friend ! i did the same as you but when i try to flash le arduino pro micro gun4ir gui don't recognize le board ! but when the camera is disconnect the software recognize the board ! so weird ?
What about installing pins on the new wire then plugging in to the existing camera ends instead of cutting them off? that way you can heat shrink them and be able to adjust length as needed if you mod another gun...
Oh question! @arcade Pirate. When you mention that you may already have something soldering in a spot on the audrino board, are you able to solder the other side of it? So say I would like two different buttons on the topshot to work for the a button. I should be able to solder both sides of the board for the two buttons, correct?
Great stuff, can’t wait for your final build

Im confused. Does this gun not use the fish eye lense like moded hand gun would?
Do you have to have the ir leds for camera to work on screen @arcadePirate
Yes.
what are the specs on the lens for the wide angle and the fish eye lens? what is their magnification?

Sounds like a great plan. Like I said in the video you don't have to extend the wires like I did. I'll do that on my next build. Thanks for the input.
Got a link or part number for the pins you’d recommended instead of cutting off the leads on the camera?
as always good work!

You can solder to both sides , solder one button point to another , or combine two or more wires into one with shrink tube . All works the same
Thanks for the video. It’s cool stuff 🙌🏻. But IR camera seems out of stock, is there another brand can replace it?
I've seen videos on using a Wii remote camera, but that involves a lot more work.
What temp do you put you soldiering gun on?
Have you tried the wii camera version?
what game are you playing at the end?
