Yeaaaah! nice 😃 whats cool is you have everything there. Stocked trout to leave your rod out, or if you’re panfishing you got bluegills small bass and occasional crappie. i have yet to catch a crappie there 🤙 thanks for watching 😃
Hey this is a good video ! Keep up the good work last week I caught 3 trout from there , hope they were good eating ! And I have a video suggestion for you to go FORD PARK , it’s a dog park in Redlands with 2 fishing ponds stocked 2 weeks ago for kid fishing derby’s . And normal fishing they have bass , blue gill , rainbow trout and catfish, water is super clear to where you can see the fish !
Awesome man thanks! Ford park seems feasible if they stock it again, probably fished out already? Ive seen it posted everywhere for that derby, and days after. As for the trout, im working on the second one from hesperia, he was chunky! I have the recent ones marinated and in the fridge, should be really good too 😋
i need to get on that tout bite but its gunna be a no go this week with all the rain.....also still trying to get on those 1lbs shellcrackers at perris
@@Crappie_Day docks ,sail cove and the far left side where all the underwater trees are ...prob my best chance is when they are up shallow once the weather warms up again
Yeah i agree! But i’m gunna put my money on bernasconi bay. When i explore that side one of these days, ill probably have to setup a bait rod, looks shallow and tapered off. I might have to put on waders to jig lol
My daughter got her first fish (bluegill) it was the size of my hand and her first bass about 2lb there, Fishermans retreat is open 24/7 good for catfishing at night. Oh and they pay you for carp how much depends on the lb
@Crappie_Day I don't have luck at the pay to fish spots to be honest. But lake perris and silverwood my daughter and I be catching bluegills and bass of jigging and worms. Just a few months ago I pulled a flathead catfish out of lake perris. Right time of year and spots ur Lil one would get bored like mine did one time. Every cast was a bite I had to put my rod down to un hook them for her she's 7
Yeah i gotta teach her to unhook her own fish 😂 The only thing i could suggest victor is what ive learned over time on the water. Keep casting. I know 2-4 hours jigging will get tiring but after the first bite, repeat exactly what you did and it’ll be fish on from there. Switch colors after 10 casts. There’s always a pattern.
What rod/reel is your daughter using? I just started fishing a couple months ago and want to take my 5 and 7 year old fishing I have a 6'6" uglystik and a 6'6" okuma celilo. Thinking maybe a shorter ultralight and maybe taking them to Fairmount Park to get started.
I have her on a shakespeare micro series light action 5’6”, and a 500 series sienna. Best setup by far locally on the budget and performance. Those rods may be a bit too long for them, even a 5 foot would be better. Ultralight is good also. Light has just been my preference, but both work well. Fairmount would be perfect when it gets warmer. The bite is tougher right now in the winter, it’s trout season, but you can get them started on the split shot rig i did on this occasion? I think fairmount is prime april/may.
Love your videos and I really like Fishermens Retreat we always do good there and love there Cafe.
Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed them . I gotta check out the cafe. Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching!
This is where I'm learning to fish. People catch nice fish here. I was there just last night and caught a bass

I got that same backpack bro I love it
Yeah she skunked bad the last couple trips, the trout are more finicky no matter what rig. But im really glad she hooked up this occasion 😃
Yeah ozark is really underrated!
Nice dude that second fish she caught was pulling pretty good 👍
Yeah it did 😃 can’t wait to get her on another but on dropshot so she can feel that trout swipe 🔥🔥
The iridescent eels make lively sport for bubble blowing chimpanzees. The dance of misty marshmallows is enchanting.
Great Video!
Thanks Hugo! and thanks again for the tips.
