@jimbrookfield9011 Probably could have gone either way. Ian had Mott the Hoople catalog also, Heart was Bebe Le Strange tour I believe. Both were pretty well established at the time. Saw them in Cleveland, so the Cleveland Rocks theme for Ian went over BIG!
I hear birds. Maybe im crazy but i definitely hear birds. And the voices of ladies like angels in a cafe drinking coffee. Thank u Ian for helping make such a wonderful album that brought such soulful music to us. L0ve it. 🎉🥰
This album is a MUST OWN for any music fan! As are all of Ian's records IMO. Trust me - I have them all! (Ok, prolly not Overnight Angels but all the others for sure) Love ya Ian! You keep rockin and I will too 🤘😎🤘
30 years ago coming back from an amorous night with an older and more experienced city gal I headed back home on the streets of Montreal blasting and blaring this song loud enough on my Alpine stereo for the next city to hear. A cop car pulled up next to me at a red light and signalled to me to lower the music. I nodded and did. And just as soon as I hit the bridge I hit the rewind button and started anew cranking the old stereo taking her to eleventy. I still talk to her from time to time believe it or not. And whenever i do I can't but remember this song and that night. Turns out it wasn't just another night. True story.
Lucky Enough to have seen Ian & Mick open for the Kinks at the Spectrum in Philly and again at the Tower Theatre Headlining on the Schizophrenic Album. Then saw Ian & Mick in Philly Touring in support of the YUI Orta Album. Front & Center. Ian signed Diary of a Rock & Roll Star and Strummed Ronson Guitar. Memory of a Lifetime
The greatest Ian and Mick's album ever, Mick was in his prime here, fuckin amazing. Totally Ian's best, Ronno is still the best guitarist i've ever seen live. Roll on Defiance #3
We still are playing this at our station! We love you Ian Hunter!
Ian is a treasure!
Saw this tour! Ian and Mick Ronson. They opened for Heart. What a great show! The good old days!
Heart should have opened for Ian

Schizophrenic was a GREAT LP!!! God bless Ian Hunter!!
Don't you wish you could go back?
Things were so much better than now, and it's not just the naivete of youth.
I really like this use of new videos to relaunch Ian's great music.
“You’re Never Alone With A
Schizophrenic” -

Magnificent. Fortunate to have seen the only UK date on the Welcome to the Club tour at Hammersmith Odeon in November 1979
