For those who don’t have 4 minutes to waste a quick summary here: 10 secs read and application here >> 1) use the car dashboard to find the warning identified by the symbol as shown, obtain the CC-ID codes and check online for parts 2) then do a visual inspection of your car light bulbs.
Thanks for that dude. That was so easy fix for me to find out which bulb as it was left reverse bulb and was just a loose connection. That bulb code idea helped
@@zevisgarage actually, it turned out to be the reversing light, which was partially underwater due to (I think) one of the rear bulb housing clips not being completely closed! Hopefully, emptying out the water will help the issue!
Nice one bro! Got this happening for last two days and was wondering which light had given up its ghost! Thankfully its a side light that needs changing! 👍
You are a star, what is the one bulb that you cannot check on your own with the car engine running? Yes you guessed correctly. Except I did not until I watched your great video. Thanks also for the link to the website with the codes. Mine was cc-ID 115 O/S/R reverse LIGHT. A tip for you all if the holding in of the end of the stalk does not work, try holding in the right hand trip meter like button at the same time. Thanks dude!
Cheers! If you put it into accessory mode and put it into reverse with handbrake on it should activate. That being said, who the heck would think of actually trying to do that
Have a quick question, where is the switch, button, knob, etc. that makes the interior lights on the dash brighter? Was trying to find that out pls :). oh btw this video is very helpful as well for me because I have the light out warning on as well. So this videos is very nice, ty for showing us how to do this and figure out the bulbs :)
Both of my parking lights had failed and I have replaced them with the new ones. The warning is still present however. When I try doing this it just says “Check OK” and doesn’t display any error code.

Thank you I was so nervous about my mini car until I started to watch your videos. So much valuable information. ❤
Thanks! I’m hoping to cover all the bits of information that 99% of mini owners won’t know, and it’s some of the most important!

I've had a mini with intermittent light issues for years and never knew it could tell me this! Thanks
Cheers! Sometimes intermittent is due to body control module failing
@@zevisgarage Thanks. We've had two minis and they've both been a little 'over-sensitive' to light faults. They really are such unreliable cars!

This was so helpful. Thanks for saving my dad and I from the headache this has become
Cheers! Glad to help!

There is a button you press and hold on the tachometer there is a button that controls brightness

Weird. No LED’s installed?
Is that a boost gauge in the air vent and if so where did you get it?
It’s a P3 boost guage. It’s the analog version. The have an OBDII version that just plugs in
that's awesome, i'll have a look now
Cheers!
I add your vidéo to my favorite
Thank you!
What app is that with all the codes on
It’s the website pinned in the comments and description
Hey bro
Where did you buy the cellphone holder?
Cravenspeed if I remember right
Clear as mud? Where did you get that list?
Thanks for the info.. Why it can't just say left tail bulb etc like my ancient old audi a4 lol.. Cheers
If you have the infotainment system it will tell you
It indicates that there’s 3 lights out but when I go through the steps, it say ‘Check Ok’ yet there are bulbs out on my R60 Countryman
Do you have aftermarket LED's?
Thank you very mucth !
You’re welcome!
Or just turn on lights and look which ones are out
That’s a lot harder than you think for most people
OH man, Get to know what you are talking about before trying educate others. !!!
lol back at ya, you are here for a reason..
@@zevisgarage I could blindfold my dog, give him a screwdriver and he would have more idea than you. 🤣
