I'm just a bloke who can't cook much, sometimes things work and sometimes they don't - but I tried this tonight and it worked perfectly!! Can't wait to do it again.
Wish a bloke would try even cook for me and he knows how ..so good on U and yes U can do anything it's the thought behind wat U do.. God bless love from Australia xxxx.. wen I was young I asked my mum how do U tell a biolled egg is cooked .. her answer was stick a fork in it lol. And how U know toast is cooked not me but some kids don't know how to press the button or even pull the cord
Tried this today and it came out so so good, I used chopped tomatoes instead of peeled, also used boneless lamb leg that took a while to cook but came out great.
I love yr easy style presentation. No chatting, no having to go looking for ingredient lists. It's perfection! I'm using this recipe at wrk today for 30 people. Cheers! From New Zealand!🇳🇿❣
Thank you so much for trying my recipe, I’m very happy that it’s your first time making lamb stew and you love it, it’s comments like this that keep my channel going
This is my first time making stewed lamb. When I say the lamb was soooo tender and everything else combined so well OOOH WEEE!!!! And that's all I have to say.
Thank you! Easy to understand recipe and instructions… I’m not much of a cook, but I can follow instructions and I just made it and it’s now simmering away on the stove… the house smells AMAZING. Can’t wait to try it with some fresh crusty bread on the side. Thanks again.
My second time making this. The secret is the herbs at the start. I used diced lamb in the slow cooker and it turns out great (Be sure to brown the meat first) Thanks for sharing this video👍
Interesting. I was looking for a more traditional Irish Stew I could make in the slow cooker, but the ingredients in this look really intriguing. I may have to try this out sometime.
@@sayasaya93 If you read another comment I posted, I not only have all the spices, but I leaned a little MORE Mediterranean and added others, like cinnamon and nutmeg. I also adapted the recipe to the slow cooker.
My goodness. This dish looks fantastic! I love the combination of ingredients and flavors. Very nicely done. Keep up the great work.. Thanks for allowing me into your kitchen. Sandee
Made this, was awesome. Boiled the potatoes as a side though, and since I did not have Worchester sauce, used thai chili sauce, worked out well. Thank you.
The first time I made this welt wasn't stew it was the lamb shoulder and I used some of what was used in this stew. Listen here. It was delicious... I made this for New Years this year.
SO delicious! I had to alter is just a tiny bit based on what I had in the kitchen, but the spices are perfect! The only thing missing is some homemade bread to go with it.
very nice cooking...hope adding green parsleys or spring onions and some corns should give the best color for eyes to capture...ta!! watching from Papua New Guinea
I will make this dish again! My partner loves! I changed the first step, I fried first the lamb, set apart, and continued cooking over the same olive oil.
Did this tonight and it was a hot hit!!! I only added more chili flakes. It was so delicious! thank you for teaching a non lamb cooker how to do stew 😊
I wanted to make a lamb stew for the Feast of Sukkot and your video was the first one to pop up. I watched it and decided to try it. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Like someone previously said, it was tender and the seasons were just right. Although I seasoned the lamb with salt and pepper before putting in the pot. This is a keeper in my recipe box.
Nice, that is similar to my recepie. May I suggest before the onions and garlic adding to the oil some crushed cardoman and mustard sees (put the lid on as mustard seeds fly everywhere). It will add some aeromatic flavours to the dish. Instead of adding the cumin as a powder I do the seeds at the start. Only other thing I did was put some ginger with the garlic. But either way I think the cardoman might add a nice flavour even if it is the only change. What you did looks super tasty anyway.
Omg this recipe was absolutely delicious ♥️ so good omg!!! Thank you so much! Is this an American recipe? Not sure what origin but is delicious ♥️🙏👌🏻👏🏻
like it. I just brown my lamb first in a pan then in a pressure cooker the onions mushrooms etc. I then deglaze the lamb pan with some red wine followed by some basil garlic etc and add mutton broth
Thank you! Instead of adding the spices to the onions, you can add the meat first fry for a few minutes then add the red wine allow the alcohol to evaporate then add the spices then continue with the next steps from there!
Nice balance of spices. Was concerned that the cloves would be too strong but it just becomes part of the background base flavour. I used shoulder chops and prefer the meat to be fall-off-bone tender so cooked it an extra 30 minutes.
