      We do. The government doesn't. So we have a 2nd amendment to amend the wrong doing of a government. The 2nd amendment isnt about hunting wildlife. Its to make sure you wont be the pray hunted when the government decides you cant make decisions on your own..ill help you vote. Mail it in and i will count it right before i lose the ballot. Upset? So are we all. France could you show use how to make a government OUR property not the other way around?..
      Oh we hrlped them 2x says you that cant finish a BOOK. Yes they have no regulars. Though they have spirit with conviction. See Europe had solutions. We had land and nothing between us the sherrifs office and the wild. Now even the Sherrifs office wont abridge an amendment.

Idc if you own property nobody saying the people from pr are perfect dummy stop jumping to conclusions I said the people coming In from other countries like the Dominicans Cubans Venezuelan people who all are trying to get into the US they’ve been disrespecting the land and tearing it up on their way out. PR has been a beautiful island the gem of the Caribbean for years but in the last couple decades as many actual Puerto Ricans were pushed out and went to mainland USA and Hawaii there was a mass migration of other people running through the island which brought a major drug and crime issue that wasn’t there before. That extends to them not respecting the land. But yeah you must know all that since you own a little plot of land. Good job

      @j.r.3945 2 місяці тому

      @davidrubinstein5359 I’m not saying locals don’t hold accountability, that’s the case anywhere in the world. The government corruption has been rampant more than ever in recent years in PR with many politicians who steal from the people. The culture that used to be strong is wavering. But to say that it’s the fault of the people when the people have been stripped of power over their own homeland is a bit unfair. We can agree natural disasters are the biggest thing that causes most problems on the island but with half-hearted aid from the country that is supposed to support and care for them as well as the inability to fully function on their own it’s been difficult to manage for locals who can no longer support their families. Had it not been for US law PR would look a lot more like Haiti or Jamaica in terms of violence and revolution right now, but with many of the native people being forced to relocate and others running the island who are quick to sell out their own people for power many locals are more focused on trying to skate by and feed their families than fighting impossible battles with corrupt politicians and little support. The locals are responsible for their own problems however many of their problems are not their own and have causes from outside that the people have little power to combat. Many of the worse-for-ware locations is a result of this

      I live in NJ and what they did was actually brilliant. There is a law that all beaches are public access and that the state must protect the tidal waterways and shorelines, which includes public access to any and all beaches. Only downside is you have to pay in most towns to get on the beach with a day pass or a season pass. But if it means that nobody can block off beach access for anyone regardless of social standing then I'm all for it.

You cannot block access to it. There has to be a public easement. Entitlement is killing this country. Why this Rich people allowed to build their houses right by the water if its illegal

    • @Craig-ib7gk
      @Craig-ib7gk 2 місяці тому

      It's not illegal to build except below the highest-tide line (which would be stupid to build lower-than anyway). It's illegal to block access to the beach. In fact, in many places you , the private land owner, must provide that access.
      Maui, HI has similar laws. All beaches are public. All beaches except military coastal establishments can be freely visited by the public. Further, all private "ocean-front" land development MUST be built well-beyond the highest-tide line, and MUST provide reasonable access to the public, including ADA compliance, to cut through their property to reach said-beaches. Kapalua Bay beaches are a good example of this. About 100 yards up from the shoreline is a lateral sidewalk, parallel to the surf line. Everything further up from that sidewalk is private property, but everything on the ocean side of the walk is open to the public. Those sidewalks periodically have abutments up the hills, leading from streets or lot parking, where people can enter and walk down to the beach.
