@@giorgiobenetti6975 l fish San Diego long range fishing trips. For big yellowfin tuna 200-300lbs. I fished a shimano 50w for them. Just thinking a smaller reel might work.

I have replaced the large handle of the HXW on HX, this is very important for tuna over 200lbs. If you can't do it, I do not recommend HX, the capacity of the wire and the handle are the two most important features in the choice.

Can that avet hx raptor take down a yellowfin tuna in the 275lb range?
If you don't need more than 500 meters of line, yes. For tuna over 100 kg maybe HXW Raptor is better. It also depends on the depth of the sea.
