- The Queen officially opened the new session of Scottish Parliament after what she described as “adverse and uncertain times”.
She was joined by Prince Charles and Camilla - but it was her first opening without Prince Philip by her side. Report by Lauren Burns.
I never really thought of our queen as tiny . Maybe it’s because she stands alone theses days. We love you queen Elizabeth very much. Love from Sydney Australia

I saw her when she came to Toronto and attended a church service. I too could not believe how tiny she is. She is not tall and this was many years ago. A strong force though. So classy

Wow what an amazing 👏 Lady the Queen is. 95 and she is a little old Lady, but see how gracious she is, still so wise and not suffering any ailments. All her faculties are there. For me, rhe Queen has always been there, I can't bare the idea that one day she will no longer be with us and that's why I mention it in my post, because we do only have a few years left to love and cherish her!

I felt disgusted at sturgeon, is she a man?? Our lovely Queen Elizabeth and instead of giving a little curtsey like most ladies she bowed. That woman is a ticket!! I think she would be a right dictator if she was to get her way. People are being fooled and it's time they woke up to the truth. I'm Scottish but have no faith in her. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is my heroine. I was lucky to see her twice, once when a child, when she toured The UK after her Coronation, and once in Washington DC. The Queen looks so relaxed and happy these days, and is an inspiration to me, while I battle my own problems. Long may she be with us.
I always loved the sound of HM voice. So clear and girlish for most of her life. Now more mature but still can have some of the sparkle of her younger years.
