I know this video is old, but I always wondered how it worked with those who pay for the premium memberships? For example, you can pay a premium membership and have little to no advertisements. Do they just pay the youtuber a small fee from the person's premium in lieu of earning it through ads since the premium membership does allow you to skip most or all ads (at least the ones that UA-cam itself puts in before many videos for free accounts)? Since subscribing to a paid membership, the only advertisements I see is if the youtuber does a promotion as part of their video, which seems to be more common these days (now in 2022/2023) versus the actual advertisement/commercial like it used to be, at laest from what i can see with a premium account.
I would love even two streams of income. I work in it and just started my channel. Working to build it. Thanks for the tips. Any thoughts on getting past a thousand?

I love investing and day trading now, plus working in retail and trade shows, sometimes I take on some serving gigs for weddings, and am pushing my styling services online in the next few weeks. Oh and I used to drive for Uber eats when I had a car! 😂
