While I was coming up for the theme of the song, a concept that came up was this idea of a Christian ascetic called a "pillarist" or "stylite". They are monks that spend hours to days on top of pillars to be closer to God. I'm not sure if it's real or not but the idea of that was fascinating to me. Definitely was a concept I would incorporate into a lyric about the person climbing....if I end up looking into that lore 😳
