- Like I mentioned in the video, this information has been out there for a long time now, but some of the videos I watched were a little tricky to follow or rushed through it so I decided to try and improve upon that. It's always good to keep the information out there!

If and when you mess up the duping process make sure you do not leave your item being duped in storage because it has a chance of dissapearing. immedietly put the item being duped into your inventory after you're finished. May or may not happen to you but just make sure you know whether or not you're putting your items in your storage or your inventory

Took me about 2 hours but I got the rhythm perfectly down now and I am now able to consistently dupe insight. At long last I'll finally be able to max out every weapon, thanks for the tutorial!
If you're looking to get max weapons then you should try the "CUMMMFPK" chalice dungeon. You'll need to play through a bit of the game to get access to it but once you unlock it then it can be there forever.
Duping is great for early game or for extra insight whenever you need it though, especially good if you've got the high level Coldblood since you can get 50,000 echoes per dupe.
@@KlyeKlyeKlye For max weapons blood echoes aren't the issue I ran into personally, it was getting enough blood stone chunks and blood rocks to upgrade my weapons, and thanks to this tutorial, I can dupe insight quickly and buy a chunk or rock whenever I want. I also personally use CUMMMFPK to get echoes so I can eventually max out my character. Currently at level 400 rn its gonna be a long journey.
Also look into the heir rune glitch for easy 600m blood echos

it worked and you can use anything on quick item. also when the characters head moves press the touch pad spam X and it works. i thought you have to spam and press triangle after
Fun fact, I also managed to get this glitch with the music box instead of the lantern.

I played before, but I was new to these type of games so got demolished at every enemy, revisiting it with a PS5 and now having nioh, codevein and sekiro under my belt it's so much easier and enjoyable ive been addicted, I've just killed the second (or third if we count the cleric) boss the blood starved beast and I've been trying to get 40000 to buy the merciless blade and ahhhhhh I keep dying from stupid reasons and THOSE DAM CROWS and die again losing all my points. This saved me so much time, I really want those blades, even if they're probably garbage

this is great and I finally got it to work it's difficult to do it very consistently but I think I've discovered the tail it's right when your character twist their wrist which is best to see if your character is naked also where is a good early spot for a high-value Cold blood?
If you get taken by the Bagman to Hypogean Gaol (which can be done very early) you can get some dews worth 1k-2k per pop which if you can get the dupe consistently then you'll set yourself up for a good early game.
Hey brother, I think I have the timing down. The issue I'm running into is instead of the character using the item I'm getting the "scratch butt" animation again. Any thoughts?
I've heard that removing the lantern from the personal effects menu and then adding it back, getting your blood consumables / madman's knowledge out of the box and then starting the process again could potentially fix that. As with any glitch, you expect it to not be particularly stable

Using farming glyphs for blood echos is much much faster but this is good for insight
Yeah once you get a bit further in the game you can get some insane echoes from the dungeons, although if you reaaally wanted to you could get a Great Old One's Coldblood and dupe that, that's like 50k echoes per pop which is brilliant.
This is an option if you dont have ps plus
Revisiting the game because I took the east way out on my first play through many years ago an this is great for not getting bogged down in the beginning areas

@@chiuso9071 I couldn’t get it to work might just be my timing but if you just beat the blood Starved beast you can open up Chalice dungeon then look up cum dungeon 80k souls just by walking in for a bit use a bold hunters mark to reset the dungeon an you can farm that all you want
@@flashbainger8557 don't worry it still works. I ve tried this until now and it works! This glitch might suck cause of the timing but it's really usefull.

Question is it supposed to automatically take me out after I press x after I press touch pad or do I press b then press triangle touch pad x
I was also wondering because my personal effect window does not go away automatically… i have to press circle, am i not timing right or do you have to quit the personal effects? Like trangle, touchpad, x and circle?

Whenever I use the touchpad it just randomly switches between gestures and personal effects, how do I stop doing gestures and always personal effects?

ive been getting it to work consistently but sometimes my bloodechos just dissapear, any clue why? all 12 of my biggest coldbloods just vanished after being put into storage
Weird, I've never had that happen to me personally but I suppose since this is a glitch then it stands to reason that other aspects of the game may also glitch out in return, every action and all that 😛
@@KlyeKlyeKlye yeah i think i figured it out and its probably something i should have been doing anyway. after you mess up and use the hunters mark you need to make sure you pull whatever you're duplicating out of the storage or it has a chance of dissapearing.
Its hard to time right but i did get it to work 3 times and used my non-existant madmans knowledge so just have to work on timing
I think that all soulsborne games should have a duplication glitch

I'd wager that it works on the PS5 since it's not a new version, it's just running on PS5 hardware, you might need to be a bit more precise with your button timing though if there are any performance enhancements

Then you'd press square if that's the button you use to heal, sounds like you have a custom set up for controls, in which case you could make the controls be in whatever configuration you want to make this easier, you could make heal be R1 and use item L1, the method remains the same.

If you wanna grind echos, just use the cummfpk chalice.

I tried doing it but what happens is i get nothing and the item disappears
Then you didn't do it right, the box won't take it from you so there's a good chance you used the item before you fell.

Great question. I believe so; it's been a few years since I've messed with this but if it works exactly the same as a Madman's then it can definitely be done.
It doesn't matter what method I use it just doesn't work..
Once you get the rhythm for it then it'll work pretty much every time, it's just finding that rhythm that'll take some time.
March 2022, still works. You don't have to have ur lantern off, it can be on or off

If you hold down X and move your controller then the sixaxis will make you emote, tap X quicker and don't move your controller as much

As neat as this is it still takes forever to actually make sure you press the buttons correctly 10 mins and I’ve only gotten it done twice :/
It's tricky, but if you can get the timing and feeling down then you can get to OP levels within minutes
I cant get it to work bro it either equips lamp or doesnt do anything atall
The timing is very strict, if the lamp goes on then you pressed too late, it's better to press it slightly early so you can keep trying until you get the timing.
I get it maybe twice every hundred attempts. I'm struggling so hard for some reason.
It's not easy, but if you can get a rhythm down it's not too bad, if you can get a feeling for when to press X then you'll get it more often, it's almost like it's 2 seconds after you press Triangle that you wanna use X on the lantern.
@@KlyeKlyeKlye I'm slowing down and going frame by frame and kinda where your head and elbow positions are.
I've gotten it a few times like that but seems like I keep end up lighting the lantern. I know how early I shouldn't be doing it and how late I shouldn't be pressing it it's just that sweet spot I'm missing out on.

Blood gems are upgrade materials, this only works on consumable items like Coldblood Dew and Madman's Knowledge
A far better echo farming method is the cummfpk chalice. 143k echos in around 20 secs if you have all the moon runes.

@@tank1503 you just need the Pthumeru Chalice from BSB, be online and use the glyph cummfpk. I bring a ton of Bold marks and farm till I'm done. Then buy some more marks and level up afterwards so I never run out.

@@adamabdad9677 Then you already own it or you'll need to first beat the Cleric Beast to have it unlocked, you'll need to play the first section of the game anyway to get some Coldblood Dew or Madman's Knowledge.

Feb 25th 2024 still works.
(If you have more than one of the item being duped in your inventory it will pull the item from your inventory and use it. Make sure to store all but 1 of the item you're duping before starting the glitch.)
P.s. it takes a while to get it right, don't lose hope.

It's all about timing, I feel it's about 3 seconds after you press triangle, keep practicing and you'll get a feel for it.

Yeah it's definitely tricky to get the right rhythm and feeling for it, but once you've done it a few times and you've got the feeling for it then it'll become much easier and you should be able to perform it almost instantly.
Probably farming from orphan of kos ng7 bl 4 is easier lol

barely survived one playthrough of this trash game, i was surprised at how artificial the games difficulty was, kind of like i was playing a reskinned dark souls 2, which would not surprise me if it was saying how both of the games came out back to back in 2014/15. thank you for this video, i could not stand how not difficult this game is
