What an amazing presentation. Thank you so very much. Well done. I am going to step through this (over the coming weekend) to address issues with my Oven. However, my oven heats up to the desired temperature but does not hold the temp. Could that be an issue with the igniter or something else (e.g. temp sensor)?
Most of the time it's the igniter (99% of the time) What happens is the igniter gets weak over time and will start the first time, but will have trouble starting back up once the temp sensor tells it to turn back on to maintain temp. And that is why your food does not cook correctly. Hope this helps have a great day!
Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful. Can you please help? Our ignitor will keep clicking until we turn the knob of the stove top burner all the way low. As if the knob is shifted. It was doing that for the first big burner, but now all the buners. When we turn off the burner the ignitor will keep clicking. Please advice.
Good video. Sadly it seems that I have to replace my igniter every ten months or so. This is my third time replacing. 😢 Also, my LG's removable panel is located on the back of the inside oven, rather than on the bottom.
It sounds like your burner needs to be replaced. Check if there is a rusted hole where the igniter is located. If so, this is likely causing your igniters to fail quickly.
Hey man any help here, do you know if the igniter used in this video is also compatible with the LRG3061BD-01, or how you were able to find what was compatible with yours?
Error Code F-9 popped on my LG Range Couple of Days ago when attempted to bake somethin. Neither Oven nor Burners Turn on would Culprit most Likely be Igniter Switch for all these things or are there two?
This oven never fails to fail. I will occasionally get a F9 but more often I will set it to preheat, it does, then while baking the temperature drops and when the timer goes off food is cold and temp is basically off.
The igniter glows but the bake function works only intermittently. Would you say that the igniter is weak, on its way to not working permanently, and in need of replacement? All other connections behind the back panel have proven to be solid and good. Only the circuit main board has not been checked.
Indeed, it appears that the igniter might be malfunctioning. Most often, replacing it can resolve the issue. These symptoms are typically indicative of a faulty igniter.
For about a year now my oven has slowly been getting worse and worse with the f11 error. I think it also flashed f9 at some point? The problem started with no error codes. I started to notice the oven would reach its set temperature and then just quit firing up again after that. It wouldn't do it every time and as time went on it started to do it more and more until now where usually I can't even start the oven until I try it like 5 times. Usually ending up with the error code several times. How can I tell the exact model? Mine is from 2014-2015 and the buttons are in a different place. I don't think mine has the diagnostic mode since nothing happens when I push in bake and broil. My owners manual has 5 different serial numbers on it. All starting with LRG30.
Just because the igniter is glowing doesn't mean it's functioning properly. If the amperage is low, it won't release the gas. I recommend replacing it. In 95% of cases, the issue is with the igniter.
I have the glow. sometimes it take a long time to turn on and sometimes their is no flames. I say it works 50% of the time could this still be the igniter?
Sounds like the Igniter to me, weak igniters will do that. And if they are weak the gas valve will not release the gas, this is a very common problem. Hope this helps!
Hi my my oven will not come on! Its an lg electric not gas! While cooking something i went to check on it when i opened the door there was a spark and it shut off! Reset the oven called the factory no explanation other than call a tech! My oven is only two years old! Any idea would be helpful! Thank you
If you've noticed a spark, it could indicate a severed wire or a grounding component making contact with the oven's casing. This situation demands caution. Until the issue is resolved, I'd advise unplugging the oven. I hope this guidance proves useful!
The problem I have is I get the f9 then it may work a week or month then it happens again. I'm wondering if it's a bad thermistor. Oven hits 350 then does not reignite. Hate this thing.
@@kono2214 @Kono Hello, I would replace the igniter, reason why F-9 code 99% of the time is repaired by replacing Igniter and if igniter is weak it will start at first, but will not relight due to being weak. MPC and Thermistor is rare. Did you place unit under diagnosis mode for error codes?
Still seeing if my LG will stay working after a power reset. Still, you have such a great manner of speaking, doing, and music. Subscribed.
Glad to help!
Your awesome the only person to show how to find the error codes , thank you very much , I don’t have a wire diagram for this unit
Happy too help! 🙂
Thanks! You saved me from buying a new range.
You are very welcome! Any other future problems please let me know I'm here to help!
Thank you very much! Just got my range done, thanks for sharing your knowledge

I'm glad to assist! You should find a link in the description of my video. I hope this is helpful!

Sounds like you have a bad switch harness.

If it is gas replace the bake igniter.
New oem igniter and temperature sensor. Still f11. Any ideas? Broil and top stove work.

My LG gas oven will not heat correctly when on bake. The broil function seems to work properly. Any suggestions? Thanks
Most of the time it's a bad bake igniter, When the igniters are weak they will just glow but will not release the gas due to a low amp draw.
Thank you!

Has there been a recall on these stoves ?
I do not believe so?
