I've always LOVED Feathertail so much, and her death literally wrecked me as a childdd. When I was rereading the books, I got to the part where she jumped off the cliff and I'm like, "Oh man I gotta do something with this!" and here we are!!
I know in the books her jumping had more to do with helping Crowpaw and the others, but I really wanted to highlight her relationship with her brother, because I feel like that was a more powerful motivator for her!!

The cat in the back is Stormfur, not Crowpaw. Hence the yellow eyes. This song is based around the sibling bond of Feathertail and Stormfur, which is why Crowpaw does not make an appearance here.

Second edit: I came back again to see it got a lot more attention than I really expected! Multiple people have asked, and I'd like to clear things up: you can use these ideas as much as you want. Tbh these ideas just popped into my head, and I didnt put much thought into it (hell, I didnt even realize the double meaning in Longtail's until people pointed it out) so no need to ask me! It's weird because these vids don't usually affect me. I don't cry or anything. When warriors die in always like "awww poor cat that's so sad." But no tears. When I watched this I cried so hard. When feathertail died I cried so hard too.....weird she wasn't even one of my favorites. In fact I kind of ignored except when she was born and when she died
Same. When I started reading Warriors, I started at The New Prophecy. I didn’t know that so many cats died in the series, and feathertail’s death was the first one I ever read about, and it made me cry so hard ;(
I agree! When cats die, I just accept it and don`t feel the same as the cats, though I feel bad. The first day I listened to the song, I sung along. Before the middle of it, I had to stop and collect myself before going on. My eyes can`t resist!

What the heck he was just a KITTEN???
This song has opened my eyes to how Feathertail's sacrifice was much more than painful for Crowpaw. When I was reading the novel originally, I was so caught up in the Feathertail and Crowpaw relationship, I had dismissed the fact that Stormfur was even there. Feathertail's sacrifice is truly one of the greatest deaths in the novel, I believe, but not because of Crowpaw, no, because of her brother and what it meant for them, their past lying out in front of her paws. She wasn't sacrificing herself to save everyone. She was protecting her brother. That's what I find amazing. She loves her brother more than her own life, if it meant he'd lose his. The bonds of the Silverstream and Graystripe family just..... Astonish me.

Having a song that focuses on Stormfur and Feathertail's relationship instead of Crowpaw's and Feathertail's is so refreshing, I love these siblings and their relationship is underrated

Fun fact. This very song here started my journey into warriors.
This song was something I listened to over and over again. And.. videos about Warriors popped up in my recommended. Already curious about this stuff through this song, I clicked. I believe that second video was another song or a video by TenelleFlowers.
Eventually, after gaining knowledge about the books I requested my mother bought me the first series. Well.. I got in over my head and she bought me all the series up to Omen of the Stars.
To this day, two years later, the box sets of those books line my bookshelf, some damaged from how careless I was and some never been touched. A year into it two super editions joined them. Tallstar's revenge and Yellowfang's secret.
Without Blixemi, I'd have never found warriors. Never finding warriors meant I'd never have found Amino and would never have joined a warriors community.
If I never joined that community I'd never have met one of my best friends. I love her so much. And I'm so thankful for Blixemi.
Although I'm falling in and out of the fandom, I'm going to try and read all the books I have but I might stop there. Warriors seems to have gone downhill some. But I still have love for it regardless.
I want to thank you, Blix, for everything. You are the reason I have one of the most amazing friends ever. 💛

Theres a few people at my school who are like "wArRiOrS iS sTuPiD" even though they've never read it. And they're people who bully me daily.
They are idiots. Warriors is probably better than whatever kids read these days. (Oof I sound like a boomer even though I'm like 10) I much rather warriors over some other dumb book series (animorphs is an exception cause it's also great) like one of those diary of a minecraft zombie or whatever the hell they're called.

Before i even started reading the third book me and my friends made warrors ocs, mine ended up being a she-cat nammed Longtail (not related to the tabby tom Longtail) My friend ended up saying she looked like silverstream and i agreed, from then on we just made it so my oc was the forgotten daughter of sivlerstream and graystripe, so when i saw this for the first time i was hit with the feels. (just incase you're wondering she is the deputy of Thunderclan, the friend who said my oc looked like silverstream is redstar the leader of Thunderlan x3)

It's good I found this song after I read this chapter in *Warriors: The New Prophecy #3: Dawn!* Still, the "I can feel my heartbeat racing, I don`t know this is my place, and yet I feel inside I must die for you to survive. I still remember when I read about Feathertail's death. Usually deaths in books are super sudden to me, so my brain relies on the reaction of the characters to actually realize what happened. So it technically wasn't her death, it was mainly everyone else's reaction to it.
(For example: WARNING THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE HARRY POTTER SERIES, even though it's been out for years.... Sirius' death. Harry's reaction almost seemed to finish the puzzle and I realized what had happened, then I tried holding in tears during class.)

@@harperthegoblin I never liked Jason or Piper. I know a handful of people don’t, but i just was never fond of them (which is why i hated Lost Hero; I didn’t like Leo at the time either.) But when Jason died I was tearing up. I already knew he died, and was expecting it and everything. But the line where the emperor stabs Jason’s already dead body and Apollo has the thought, “...which removed all hope that our friend was still alive”, it broke me. I also couldn’t handle it when Piper’s dad walked up to them all crowded around his dead body on the beach... Jason’s death is one of the only deaths in a book I’ve ever cried about.

I think reading Feathertail's death was the hardest I ever cried while reading the books in the series, at least up to where I am in the series now.. I was reading the book in school, after having gotten all my schoolwork done & I just started silently bawling. Thank you so much, Blixemi, for continuing to make such amazing songs that go along with these characters. I think you're an inspiration to everyone in the Fandom who's come across your wonderful channel.

Finally a song not about feathertail and Crowfeather. I know how hard it was for Crowfeather but Stormfur and feathertail were siblings had a bond like no other. Remember when Stormpaw wouldn’t let Darkstripe and Blackfoot kill Featherpaw? When Tigerstar tried to take over the whole forest? That just proves the bond they had. I love feathertail and Crowfeather but it’s nice to see a song showing feathertail and stormfurs bond.

It's nice to see a Feathertail work that doesn't focus on her relationship with Crowpaw. Even if I liked the shipping, it still would have gotten old by now. Feathertail and Stormfur's relationship is very interesting too, and it's nice to see it get some coverage.

Every time I listen to this it gives me chills, feathertail felt like she was a real cat and when she died I was heartbroken, this means more than what feathertail had gone through
Feathertails death actually saved the clans, if she didnt sacrifice herself Crowfeather wouldnt have Leafpool and their kits. She was the bravest cat in the books, there's no doubt in that.

Wow, not only does this take me back to when i first read Moonrise 8 years ago (the second warriors book I read because I thought Midnight was the first book lol), but it also sends me back to my first job. I was 16 when this song came out and I was working at Panera. It was a lot of stress on a high school student, and I always listened to this after work or school. Now I'm almost done with college and I still read warriors and listen to your songs! Thank you Blixemi!!

I listened to this over a year ago and I know it’s a bit old by now, but I had been through some sad times, but this song had me learn how to express it through song, and it has since inspired me to find a small, young talent for songwriting. I have yet to make original songs, but taking songs like these and rewriting them has let me learn how to grow in talent for now and the future and for me to vent to myself in a beautiful, artistic, and not destructive way. Even if it is much later than this song was made, it had come across my mind and inspired me. Thank you, Blixemi, for your amazing talents in all that you do
