Thank you for choosing to watch our adventures in Disney World.
    Allow us to introduce ourselves.
We are Teia and Brandon. A couple of lifelong Disney nerds. We have both been visiting Disney since we were very young.
Then when planning our wedding, we both realized that we were both Disney fanatics and there was only ONE option for the honeymoon. That's right. 2 weeks at Disney World.
Now, many years later, and many Disney trips later, we have decided that this year we will finally be purchasing "Annual Passes."
So we will be Vlogging the entire year as Annual Pass holders and our (hopefully) many adventures to the happiest place on Earth.

I buy the lots for the kids, and searching for authentic pins is just as fun as trading to me. 😂

I bought a lot of pins that apparently are fake before I knew that there were fake ones out there. But...I still think they are cool and I like looking at them so while I might be a bit sour I try to see the fun in the trades and enjoying the art. I use them to give my kids a bonus to their allowance when they do really good or finish their chores really fast and everyone wins!

We have had too many fake pins from eBay 🙁 Fortunately at Disneyland Paris, they do a good job of not accepting and getting rid of fake pins.

That would be fantastic. When I'm walking around Disney World, I can visibly see the CMs get uncomfortable when I point it out. Mostly cause the dont know. But more often because it shows they don't care.
      Out interaction usually goes...
Wife: "Do you see anything you like?"
Me: "No. This whole board is all fake pins."
      Wife: "Really? All of them?"
Me: "Yup. Except this one. But I don't want that one."
CM: Face flushes as Me and 3 other people walk away because they decided not to trade.

Yes it's definitely not for the faint of heart.
When I started collecting and trading, I was just learning the ins and outs of spotting fakes and scrapper pins.
Now I can spot one from a mile away. And I can say 100% that all of the pins are fakes.
      Good luck. And have fun.

@DoofsInDisney thank you we will hun I must say I have seen some beautiful pins on loungefly that's where I been buying so far an shop disney but she seen some older pins she would like to have but I have got scared to buy an they are not cheap they range from 40 to a 100 a pin do you know a good site to buy limited Edition pins

Loungefly pins are awesome. I have quite the collection of Disney Loungefly pins.
*Technically* they say these pin are not tradable on the pin boards at WDW or DL because they are not authentic Disney pins. But... they won't say anything (usually).
      Tip 1:
Do not trade nice or expensive pins on the pin boards at the parks. 99% of those pins are fake. And you are wasting your money. Although sometimes you'll find a good one here and there.
      Tip 2:
If you want to trade good pins, a lot of times, there will be pin traders sitting outside of the Pins stores at each park and disney springs with their Pin Books.
      MK - Frontier Trading Post
EPCOT - Camera Center (Under the ball)
HS - Actually they are in the Photopass building not the pin store.
AK - I don't usually see people sitting out here.
Springs- Outside to the right if the building.
Tip 3: Where to buy LE and hard to find pins.
Go on Facebook, Instagram, and UA-cam and subscribe to Disney Pins Blog. He announces all the new upcoming releases.
The Disney Pin trading stores I listed above are you absolute BEST bet to buy hard to find pins.
There are some trading groups on Facebook etc but I never really feel comfortable trading with them. But some members are very knowledgeable.
But they are fun to look at.
My wife gets a lot of older pins from mercari, and I've gotten a few from ebay. But I do hard core vetting before I purchase.
ie: make sure they are on the original card and have them send a picture of the back of the pin. And back if the card.
You can find online the OG barcode so you can authenticate the pin.
      Hope this helps a little.

Interesting. Never bought Lots off EBay for trading plus always heard you may get fakes. Reason I just buy the sets at Character Warehouse or The Disney themselves

Per your edited comment... I agree. I love going to the Character Warehouse. That’s where I try to buy my trading pins.
We only bought these eBay pins for this video. We don’t want to contribute to the problem with these fake pins.

After reviewing all of those pins again recently I am pretty confident they were fakes.
Also I brought them to the parks to show them to the hard core pin traders that hang around and got a confirmation from them.
