I knew straight away that you're purse was a kipling , My Mum had the bag, and the purse too, I'm in the 🇬🇧 so it means it's the other way round {I think} Mum passed on the 29th of July 2022 , gut wrenching, but I kept Mum's bag , I haven't opened it up , I can't, anywho it's in a strong plastic bag to keep the dust off, The monkey on it is called Lucy , which was Mum's name , Mum had a few over the years, but as soon as I seen your purse /wallet I knew straight away... thank you for indulging me, I hope I didn't bore anyone if you read this comment

The golf pants are most likely not sized and have the hem that way because they were made to tailor to the persons size, they made a lot of pants that way with a standard size but made so they could Taylor them, I hope that makes sense, I’m not the best with explaining things. 😊

Thompson is defiantly a vintage 60's fabric maker. I have a hanger with the name on it in that same font from the 60's from my Grandmother. Its very collectable. LOVE the wool moose pillow- any wool pillows in good condition are a pick up-ALWAYS! 🤩
That first goodwill is my favorite in Lexington. I once found an italian vase there that sold for $900! It was 6.99.

They run around wild in Arizona. It was fun when you were in Arizona because I have a house in Sun City, and I recognized a lot of the streets and the auction place! I usually stay in Northern Virginia. Love your show and I’ve been watching it for a few years. You and Matt make the nicest couple! So happy you found each other. I would love to hear the story of how you started seeing each other… I imagine he came from California to do some picking in Kentucky. But I have a feeling he did that intentionally!❤️ I’ve tried watching some of the other pickers, but they’re so boring compared to you guys. I sell on Facebook marketplace, but I’m a little timid about starting the mailing and doing eBay. I’ve learned a lot from you though. I am originally from Southern California and have been living in Michigan for the last 25 years. I still am not used to thunderstorms with the lightening and thunder so hearing about the kids running out of their rooms made me laugh.

@@NET-26 I didn't say that they never get thunder and lightening in Southern California but not very often. Here in Michigan it is quite often, every year and very strong. We get severe thunderstorm warnings every year, multiple times a year so adjusting to having the storms all the time to getting them only once in awhile and not severe is something I still am not used to but thanks for asking.

That is the way pants use to be made so that they could be taylored to the correct length for the purchaser.
The card case that the yugioh cards were in is valuable by its self. Its worth anywhere from $50-$80 depending on condition and which variant you have. They made several different versions including a Pokemon version that sells well.

Pretty sure that was an antique French or Scandinavian copper mold for apple cake…you peel and slice apples place them in the rounded parts and pour cake batter over, bake then flip…probably more decorative though these days
That is exactly what they are I have 3 of them, not safe to bake in these days ,but are quite pricy to buy .I display mine in my keeping room

Here's what you do with a wonky cart. Take everything out of the cart that they just brought out (they won't use wonky carts) and switch with your wonky cart and take theirs. Easy peasy.

I’m glad you shared that the clothes stink. We don’t have smell-a- vision, and my Goodwills clothes always stink. It’s good to know it happens everywhere.

I have never had problems at my Goodwills in Illinois with clothes stinking. Perhaps customers who tried them on ? I always wash everything before I wear them.

Yu-GI-Oh cards have a copyright date of 1996 on every card. It isn't for the year it was made, just for when the brand was created. This changed in 2021 when the ownership changed to DICE and all newer cards are printed with 2021. The way to tell when a card is from is based on the set name which is printed under the image on the right and then doing more research from there. The left side of that will either say "1st Edition", "Limited Edition" or be blank. Any real cards from the 90s will also be printed by Bandai, not Konami.

I did google lens on the pan/drum and it is an antique (copper?) escargot/hand pan. I have taken to buying anything copper that is substation because it's bringing $4-5lb for scrap!

Matt, I grew up in North Louisiana until we moved to So Cal when I was 16. My brother was 10. I will never forget right after we got there it "rained" and they shut the elementary school down that day because of thunder. I was so confused! 😂We are quite used to thunderstorms here. -Alissa

Those birds first came out from Target. Probably about 8 years ago. Certain ones were in higher demand than others. After Target, other craft stores came out with them like Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnns, then Walgreens, CVS and Walmart. The past few years Dollar Tree even had versions of them. Some are made of course better than others!
Royal & Awesome are golf pants. I always pick them up. The prints sell better than the solid colors.

That was a musical instrument (the metal thing) as played in a steel band. They are traditionally made from things like metal bin lids and such

you have to wear cotton to stay cool....and light colors. Dark absorbs the heat. Get a few of the neck coolers. Matt you can put damp cold washcloths under your hat. Drink water!!!!!!!
