Like it or not, you’ll be bringing a bit of the Boston back over the pond. And your adorable daughter may forever have an American (Boston) accent! I wonder if any couples that move abroad ever have a child or two with one accent, and another child or two with another accent??? 🧐
I would pick out the clothes two different outfits all the way down to the socks and let my daughter choose from the two and i had a cubby and place for herto hang the hanger with the outfit thecubbyheld her shoes with socks ortiggts over top and a hat and orgloves and her backpack hung from back of front door lunches made and lunch hoxes open near refrigerator already packed with utensils and fruit cups and napkins ....bowls sitting next to stove and serving dishes on a small tray filled with brown sugar and cinnamon cardomom and ginger in tiny ramekins and the steel cut oats container standing inside a clean pot with the mixing spoon and small measuring cups inside ...my coffee pot filled with fresh ground coffee and filtered water on a timer set to start automatically at 615 am...hairbrush in hair barettes and a comb and a spraybottle of water together set out on coffee table ....when the nights were cold i would use a hot set hair blowdryer lift their bedcovers and blow hot air underneath the covers while they got their drink of water went tinkle washed their hands then brushed their teeth by then the beds would be warm...this took the chill off and helped them snuggle into bed and fall asleep faster...in the mornings i would toss their clothes and socks and jackets into the warm clothes dryer or blow the hairdryer hot air indife them to make dressing more of a welcome than a dreaded tadk.i was room parent and in pta i had children that were in different grades different schools different start times and let out times, very tricky and i was also taking classes at a college some right after i picked the teen up from schooland some after we got home and i served dinner ...i couldnt have gotten through itwithout my teenager who was only 10 yrs older than my youngest she was a Godsend. Still is and always will be my shiny star in this universe!!!.
