I’m French, lived in Brighton for a bit- was always puzzled at the way my "English pronunciation" of croissant and pain au chocolat was always met with a look of terror and a "what was that?" but when I just spoke French on these two nouns it would go smoothly??? I was just thinking that your kids will have British accents, the biggest change will be with Sophie. It's totally natural to adopt the accent of where you are, although for some reason people think that's weird. Kyle might even start saying kwasoaaan!

It’s so funny how we speak the same language, yet we don’t. My ex and two kids and I went to Ireland and stayed for the first week in Killarney near my cousin’s farm (faahm)! My daughter pinched me on the butt, and I said stop pinching my fanny (not knowing what fanny meant over yonder). Well when my cousin told me then I said it every 10 minutes whilst there. 😂🎉🎉
