Trying Adel's Famous Halal Food - The Best Halal in NYC?

- In this video I meet with my friend Steve to try the famous halal cart Adel's. I have walked by this cart many times and always seen a long line, but never thought about trying the food. My friend who was visiting NYC during his birthday wanted to try the food, and I decided to try it with him. We waited a bit over 30 minutes in the line, but the food was totally worth it and full of flavors. I had the combo platter with spicy rice. It was really delicious, I would make the line again just to have this amazing and affordable food. They also take debit and credit cards if you don't have cash. I love myself eating these carts. Street food always seem to taste better. It has to be great that all the UA-camrs comes to you. The food looks so good. Will have try it next time we are in the area. We are looking to be back in November for the NY Marathon.
Street food is the best, and this is what I love about UA-cam, the community we create and people we meet, and able to come together.

When I stayed in NY, this food cart was just down the street from hotel and I couldn't believe the line up. I've never really understood what "Halal" means. Even when I look it up I still don't really understand. Like the Drake reference BTW...lol.

Halal is the muslim version of kosher. It means that the food is ok for muslims to eat, but in nyc it refers to a very specific type of street cart food made by muslims. Its the modern version of american chinese food as these dishes arent real middle eastern dishes.
