    I have played baritone saxophone, and it takes an incredible amount of air to play. As you might imagine, with that much brass, it is also very heavy. Even with a neckstrap, to be able to dance like he does with it is amazing. Altissimo notes are not easy to hit on it either. Impressive musicianship.

    Where is trumpet :(

    • @astcomjakecw
      @astcomjakecw 9 років тому +6

      Bobik258cz i really didnt like the trumpet, too loud over the other guys and sometimes it got annoying, i mean his sax gets annoying too when its high pitched (thats part of the point) but the trumpet was always blasting high frequency, high intensity stuff. Of all of those instruments, the trumpet is the one that will give you hearing damage at ranges like that with concrete and metal walls, say good by to some of your frequencies. it might even be an insurance thing.

      +Kyle Currier I am sorry! But you do not get it. That trumpet player has chops like you would not believe: lungs, balls and talent. He could perform in front of the best of the best and they would be mesmerized. When these guys perform they hold nothing back.

      +Mark Urban I agree with you 100%
      Trumpet is one of the hardest instruments to master and takes hours of practice a day to get a consistant tone

      +Mark Urban, the problem is It Sounds Better Without the Trumpet... as good as he is. Trumpet does not belong in THIS song.

    God damn I couldn't imagine playing a bari sax like that standing up let alone while dancing around. The air alone that that takes make me go "NOPE" let alone that fucking chromatic scale at the end with the 30 second notes. I can barely double tongue on my french horn let alone triple tongue like that.

    • @GhostHax0r
      @GhostHax0r 7 років тому +4

      Adrian Mayer You must become one with the snake-tongue technique. I play bari, I would know lol, you have to keep your tongue really close to the Reed and learn how to move it fast enough. And oncs you get used to the bari the air required is no problem lol.

    • @lyndanclay5108
      @lyndanclay5108 6 років тому +2

      Adrian Mayer I'm a bari player myself and I actually find it easier to get air through my sax while standing. Its also easier to groove

      Most woodwinds players learn to store air in their mouth while breathing in through their nose, to basically create an endless supply of air.

    • @Woolley_like_sheep
      @Woolley_like_sheep 8 років тому +94

      +VinnyInTheLab not true, you'll find most wood wing or brass players can't do that at all, I certainly can't and I dot. Know any one who can, we all just learn to breath very fast between notes

      +Andrew Ulm If you're honestly curious, there is one thing that was handed as ancestral knowledge to me from my parents and made sure that even the wildest Goth haircuts stay up firm and deadly through nights out clubbing to this day: Simply mix water and sugar and apply said solution to your hair.
      No, it's not 'clean'. But it's cheap and its firmer then 99% of the shit you can buy in stores. You do need to take real care of your hair when using it, though. It can literally "break" if you aren't careful.
