@@delightfulpod yeah it’s the song that made me go from a fan to saying this guy is just on another level. I went to his show in Atlanta in 2018 and he had the whole place singing and crying to it .
Highly recommended “Ross Capicchioni” by Joyner Lucas, on top of the previously recommended “I’m not racist” and “I’m sorry”. He’s the story teller of our generation
If you never had addiction you wouldn't understand stand I'm 12 years sober and fully think this song sends a message to help use keep going poweressage Joyner Lucas
I really enjoyed your reaction and your comments, and understanding. You have shown us what a great therapist you are. I live my therapist, but you'd be my second choice! My son is an addict at 37yrs old and this song is wow, it made me cry! I have been playing it in repeat...
Ive been dropping this comment on every one of these reactions because i feel people need to see it. I was addicted to fentanyl for almost 7 years but june 12 will be my 2 years clean. It was a hell of a fucking road and it took me multiple tries before i finally figured it out. But here i am. Now im in the process of becoming a Certified Recovery Specialist that way i can help people that are in the shoes i once was. For anybody who might come on this video and might be struggling with addiction please remember that youre bigger than this and you can overcome it! It takes alot of work and dedication but i promise you if you put in the work happiness is on the horizon! #WeDoRecover
You need to react to Im sorry by joyner lucas. Losing my brother to suicide this song has played a massive part of my life. Be ready for the water works on that one.
May I first say I really appreciate your reaction to this video. There are a few things that you said that really grab ahold of me as well. What are the things you said was of the codependency. And how true that is because for myself speaking I know that I have become very codependent. I needed it and even at points I still need the approval or acceptance of others. And you also said that it is fearful to have hope and how true that is. And not being able to even have a vision of your life sober is overwhelming. There is something else I wanted to point out. A part in the song he says he has been alone for so long that he's harder to reach. Isolation. Dependency will isolate the person. When he says it seems as if the addict doesn't care. To an extent that is true. The addict has a form of care but genuinely loves and hates the addiction more than anything else. Lastly when he mentions how he had tainted his vision on the things he hates. That is so powerful. Because we become what the people we love hate. Now their vision is tainted.

I noticed that you have been reacting to some of NF's songs and something you said in this reaction made me think of NF's song 'Happy'. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
First time I heard this track I was at work trying to explain to my coworkers I had "saw dust in my eyes". See I'm loosing my sister to drugs and no matter how hard I reach out she hides and runs back to her dead beat BF that has her trapped in this lifestyle
Joyner Lucas has a song he just released a video for lately called 3 Little Pigs where he flips the story on how society is. You should check that one out
I can relate to this song, from someone with mental health and addiction to Xanax, I hate myself for. Because my wife just wants the best for me, but I'm Lost. It sucks and addiction is a disease, because I never wanted this and I want to change, but when you lose your entire family at a young age, I've gone through two kids dying, one from a drunk driver the other bc my ex had a miscarriage on purpose. But maybe it's good I'm not a father, because ain't no one helping me get out of this hole I'm stuck in, all I want is the best for my wife but sometimes I ask myself, would her life be better if I just died. People that don't do drugs cannot relate, people with no mental health issues can't understand. I saved 3 lives just last year but the sad thing is, I ask myself. Can I save myself.
Joyner Lucas his videos you know he makes the video that he makes this song to the video he’s so talented he’s actually Eminem’s life and his top three favorite artist that’s crazy I just seen your page today and I was trying to remember where I heard your name before Eminem this song Eminem featuring Kehlani - nowhere fast heart music awards 2018 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction video! Have been a longtime fan of both Joyner & Jelly, but this song/video is just next level! The guy acting as the 'addict' is an old friend of Joyner's named Mic Devine. They lost their friend Dave to an OD. Mic wrote a song called "Way Down We Go" in tribute. It's said that song was the inspo for Joyner's song. Mic's song is worth checking out - ua-cam.com/video/_8TcfQriKu4/v-deo.htmlsi=4OSRWWJoPeXz_m-w
U should do more Joyner. He does a lot of this type songs where he goes both perspective. I recommend IM NOT RACIST(blacks in America) FOREVER(abortion) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY(cheating/adoption)
“I’m sorry” by Joyner is a must. It pulled me out of a dark place tbh
Just recorded it today…it was a hard one to watch but so powerful!

Joyner is so good about telling both perspectives... Such a phenomenal story teller... The friend/relative pov.... vs the addicts pov...
Joyner is one of the few true story-tellers left in rap. a lot of good react opportunities
I don’t know if you reacted already but Joyner Lucas I’m sorry is a very brutal song at least for me
I wish I could like this comment more than once.

I do not know if you have heard Happy Birthday By Joyner Lucas, but it is a very hurting and polarizing song you should do a reaction to that video.
