Wow, was going through a divorce when this song dropped. My 4 yr old son's struggle was killing me. Like many here I thank God for this message NF was able to express. I was able to heal enough to guide my little one through our "journey" and life is so much better today. Thanks Nate

NF is one of those artist that hits the reality button and makes you just look in the mirror stuck like WTH. Unsure if you reacted to Ekoh Trauma akin to NF he hits the real button and is about the concept of not giving up, but work on yourself.

I wouldnt describe it as a character that he's playing but more resembles the inner monologue or depressing side that is in all of us at different degrees and levels. That voice always tell us we arnt enough and wont be loved at times more intense then others. He has presented that whole side of him though as a different person representing growth by no identifying with it

It took me 43yrs to finally get over my dad leaving my mom, sister & I. It truly fucked me up when i was a teenager/young adult. I turned to drugs & the streets to deal with it. I will never forgive him but ive accepted it & moved on. Better late then never, right.
