It is his intetnal relationship with chronic illness and autoimmunity in particular. Attacks himself without warning or logic. The terror alsi if not knowing how long it will last or if he will emerge and WHO he will emerge as. He was stabbed in eye during this. 2 months ago the eye flared again putting him in hospital as his whole body started cascading and ptsd kicked in from all the years trapped in bed. His livestream is up on Renmakesstuff. Health things esp in first half hour but he talks a lot about a lit of issues. He will not be able to tour. Big hurt for him. Abd autoimmunity is a life sentence.
The greatest scene of all time... idk what TV show would do that besides the Good Times episode when James got killed and Florida tried to hold back her tears until the end
❤
Much love to you for your kind words. ❤
🐰❤🔥🔥🐰
Mmmh... The order was 'Elysium', 'Tartaros', 'Gaia'... The artist might have ordered them intentionally...?
Welcome to the slaughterhouse 🐰 the sick boi is dead 🐷😁🥹💜
he said this is one of the only rap songs on the new album. I always love your insight into his work
The beat on this is so good! Its all rens work too
Yeah, I think this video is pretty clearly a reference to the different "parts" of Ren. And how some parts are, as you said torturing him. In "Hi Ren," he was referencing integrating different aspects of himself with a dance an not a "fight we can win." But here, he must be saying that he is going to kill off parts of himself. This is the first released track off his upcoming album, and I think showing "Johnson the bunny," the new logo at the end of this video could be a reference that the Sick Boi era Ren is over. A new Ren is coming. Thanks for your video, and for your continued support for our guy Ren.
❤

Keilini is absolutely gorgeous ❤❤thanks for the reaction
Not always a fan of Ren, but always a fan of Keilani :)
I always found it weird they perpetuate the "deadbeat dad" myth, but not the "single mother homewrecker" reality 🤔
This is the exact way my grandfather and my dad would clash only thing is. My grandfather is DEFINITELY without a doubt, UNCLE PHIL.
This scene has always troubled me and started me asking the question what’s worse not having your father around or your father being in your life but not giving a bleep my father has always been in my life but has treated me and my mother like crap he only cares bout himself my sister and brother (half brother and adopted sister both older) basically being what an absent father but being there physically again I don’t know what’s worth
Thank you
just stumbled on your channel.. these are dopeeeeee! if i can make a recommendation. "Sabrina Benaim - Explaining My Depression to My Mother"
Phil wasnt acting or will. Will really does have fsther issues and what he said why doesnt he want me was real. The actor for phil sees this and actually comforts him. This was all real not acted. An older man comforting another young man
This scene hit home to me. Because I knew plenty of kids growing up that didn't have their fathers in their lives.
Im 38 and this scene gets me everytime. After my parents got a divorce when I was 3, my father would call our house randomly and would always say he's gonna come pick me up and spend the day with me. Said that he bought me a Power Wheel and that it was in the mail. (I was 6 at this time) The pattern continued for the next 7 years until one night he called, said the same ol' thing but I bursted in tears after the call and I said the exact same thing to my mother.
Great song! U should also try the cure for minds unwell by Lewis Capaldi
Been having this very conversation constantly for 30 years.
Damn life ain't been the same since Uncle Phil died 😢
This and when carlton had the gun in hospital to avange will one of the saddest and relatable moments on tv so many people deal with this
What's with the hiccups lol if that's a natural thing I'm sorry but I had to ask
When Will says "How come he don't want me, man?", that wasn't scripted, He had more lines to say, but Will Smith was so overcome by his emotions towards his real life "come and go dad" that he just broke character and said what he was really feeling. And James Avery immediately recognized what was happening and instinctively pulled Will in for a hug.
Sometimes I can’t tell if the songs I listen to are helping or keeping me here. I should be leaps and bounds ahead of where I am. None of it was really in my control but I was told so much I don’t really know what’s true about me. Only what my son says and even though he’s 8 I do wonder if he says it just to make me feel better. I don’t show him my struggles but somehow he knows something’s up. Too smart for his age. Always has been which is why I never lie to him like some of my friends do to their kids lol..
I felt a sense of relief after that scene, it was so emotional yet beautiful
My bio father left when I was 4. My first memory as a child at 3 or 4 was watching him throw my mother on the hood of our car, I get how Will feels. I've pulled the first name card before, I let that boy go many years ago. He may be almost 50, but he's a boy cause no man would leave his kids and do the things he did. But my mom gave me an amazing stepfather when I was 6. And that's what Will has in Uncle Phil, and he needs to embrace that. I've felt like Will when I was younger, but now that he's nothing to me for over a decade, I don't even remember he exists sometimes. Acceptance and forgiveness will heal the soul. But what he did to my mom, I might add, will never be forgiven. And that boy doesn't want to see me again, because it won't end well. I'm old enough now to stand for myself AND my mother, unlike before.
"Money makes a Man's verb consummate the noun". A simple, yet EPIC statement. Ren is amazing.
My dad walked out me when I was little. Seeing this hurts me alot
Therapist reacts is crazy
It’s my favorite show
That part always makes me cry 😭 and some people have baby’s and don’t even want them period and and even when they much older too and parents just don’t understand and realize how much they have hurt 😔 badly their children they don’t want it deal with it’s a painful feeling
Watching this scene as a kid broke me, because I was that kid who gave up waiting for my parents, and wishing the same for my sister. And now as an adult, I see my kids and I am grateful they haven't felt this pain.
This scene is the shows finest moment.
Like so many, I come from a broken home. I didn't get to see my Dad a lot. There was a 4 year span that I didn't see him at all. This episode hit me like a ton of bricks when it came out. 30 years later, and it still does. Characters like Uncle Phil, Carl Winslow, Alan Matthews; they taught us what it meant to be a real man. Be there. Be not afraid to when you are wrong. Stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. Stand on business. RIP Uncle Phil. We miss you.
Therapy is a sham…full of a bunch of broken therapists who have more emotional and mental issues than the rest of society. Yet people pay them a stupid amounts of money to give them advise when they’re lives are worse off then their patience’s lives. Your therapy session turns into their therapy session while they do nothing but talk about themselves for an hour. Lol what a joke!!
A song suggestion, Dax - To be a Man
Every video of yours brings me to tears. I can’t fathom trusting/having a good day, a good out come, a good conclusion, a good ending, a good nothing. This mental health journey sucks and its also very therapeutic
Will deserved an Emmy for this performance
Forever by Joyner
My goodness, ty for your words and insight. Between you and Nate I feel like I’m getting the best therapy and it’s free99. I’m so grateful I found you page 🫶🏼
First Things First Rest In Peace Uncle Phil...... Foreal. I remember the first time I saw this scene and it made me tear up, still does to this day
Imagine smoking a fattie and getting hyped to go see Fresh Prince be filmed. And this happens😮. 😂.
Ben Vereen was amazing in this role.
Will you be reacting to ren's slaughterhouse that dropped yesterday. It's a must view. Amazing.
As someone who's father abandoned him twice, this scene messes me up even now. I first saw it when I was a little kid and I remember thinking the same thing. "Why didn't he want me? What's wrong with me?"
