For the first example, after you you transferred -3x to the left where did you get the -1 which u divided on both sides
A is non negative thus it must be => 0 always
I am confused. During times 7:00 we were suppose to multiply -4/3. Why isn't it -4/3 x -3 when -3 is the denominator? Instead you did -4/3 x Positive 3. And if we are multiplying -4/3 x -3/-1 would'nt it be +4? Same with problem that contains -2/5. You multiplied with +5 when it is a negative fraction. I had to go back to google to ask if fractions can be negative and it said yes. So that is where I am confused on.

When you get to your final answer, and the coefficient (A) in Ax + By = C is negative, multiply everything by -1 so that the coefficient becomes positive in your final answer. (A) has to be positive
What is the 'advantage' of standard form over slope-intercept form? i.e. if not for a test question, why would we even do this IRL?
Standard form is useless. Slope-intercept does everything it does but better.

Another question, during 8:45. Supposed to multiply fraction. Isn't multiplying fractions straight across? We found a common denominator but it stayed as 4 when multiplying. And then You only multiplied the top. Not sure how you go that. Is there another video that you can refrence me? I just feel like everything I learned in middle school is completely different than what is being done here with fractions.

The coefficient (A) in Ax + By = C must be positive. If the coefficient is negative, multiply everything by -1 so it becomes positive

What I understand from another video is that A in standard form cannot be a negative so you multiply by -1 to make it a positive, multiplying the whole equation by -1 just chances the sign

The standard form is (a)x+(b)y=c.
You need to put both X and Y on the same side, otherwise it can’t become standard form and the problem won’t be solved
