That ball is STRONG!!! Whew! Good to see someone knock off the polish and throw it. Been nervous to do it to my brutal collision but I think i need it.
Hallelujah!!! Barks is back. Being a lefty too I really enjoy your reviews. As far as a color ball I will not play. Not really if it works it works. Although back in the 80's Brunswick had the Edge or Edge II that was shite brown and it was so ugly. Now this Vibe is looking sa-weet!
I'll throw any color. I used to think I didn't like green bowling balls, then I got a Storm Parallax, and that cured me. You dulled the cover, and turned it into a Track Kinetic Cobalt.
when i learned about surface, i changed my hustle wine from polish all the way down to 850. everytime i dropped the surface down one pad, it "felt" different. in my bag the 850 fit for me so i kept it there for a while until i got a controllable solid to replace it and brought it back up to polish. i highly recommend changing the surface to manipulate balls reactions to your needs as well. sometimes an old pearl from 2014 with a 1k rough on it can become your house shot monster. but you will never know unless you try!
i recommend sticking to your normal Layout! i went with a stronger layout for my Radioactive Vibe.. (went from pin above ring finger, to pin kicked out)and threw it during open play, where the lanes hasn't been oiled since the morning, (went at 9pm) and my first shot with all new balls. I like to stand 10 play out to 8. and well I did just that and only took out the 7pin! I wasn't anticipating this new vibe too hook as much as it did! revs is around 415, speed is 17.5 18.2. but usually first shot of the day is around 15 MPH. So maybe my speed to revs had a something to do with it! But the way I throw it definitely needs oil!
I don't get it... I'm injured and using a lower weight than normal. I'm using a 12 pound plastic, and a 13 pound low grade reactive. Yet I'm bowling 20+ my average almost every game. I'm almost able to go back to my normal gear, but I don't think I should... What's your guys thoughts? My usual weight is 14 pound.
If it is a solid or complimentary color on a ball, I'm okay. Cases in point: teal/aquamarine and orange worked great on the First Blood, or even the violet/orange on the Total NV. But holy crap, my Pivot, or even similar, the Pivot Point or the Epidemic looked like someone took the colors of what came up out of a toddler's stomach after not liking dinner and thought they would be great for a bowling ball color. They make some of the extreme sides of Abstract Art look good. Those I wouldn't get again. The Radioactive Vibe is okay.. I mean, There's no mistaking not being able to see it as it continues through the deck. Besides, we saw the Sun Storm again.
Oddly enough I won't buy a pure white ball. Every time I've seen one they get dirty immediately. And this is coming from someone with both a Volt solid and a Flux.
Color isn’t so much of a factor. It’s more of when I can’t see the ball flaring down the lane. A dark ball with bright grips where I can see what the ball is doing is just fine but when it’s impossible for me to see the variance in my release because I can’t see the ball transition is my least favorite.
The ball color I see and immediately say "No way!" is radioactive green. There was a Radical ball like that and also a 900 Global Volt that come to mind. I think there was an overseas Idol like that as well. But this Vibe color is also pretty bad. I don't see myself ever buying anything that bright.
Volt solid and Beyond Ridiculous. I have the Volt solid and it's a good ball, but definitely not for everyone. I don't have the beyond, but I've seen it and it's a darker shade of green than my Volt.
I know my least favorite ball to see going down the lane color wise is prolly the phaze 2. It's a tri color ball, but all 3 colors are typically fairly dark, and it doesn't blend well to me. Same with the Gem, but for the opposite reason. They have to be contrasting, like a black, pink, silver or a black, yellow, lime
@@KSI_Rogue Eh. I don't have one, nor do I want one. It's recognisable goung down lane, and I do like that the pink stands out, but it's nothing special
Cool video talk tech is bowling ball hammer radioactive vibe with dot technology drill anywhere technology and carbon fiber technology and dynamic core technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time
I despise how any kind of regular or light, bright green looks on a ball. So to me the Duo is ugly as sin, especially with the black its mixed with. But, balls like the Cosmos and UFO Alert and the Clone on the other hand, that have a darker green hue, look really cool to me.
I think the new Vibe looks fine, but it’s going to look like a dumpster fire after a game or 2 of belt marks 😅
I noticed something like that in their Motiv Yellowjacket review. Definitely shows dirt
Hammer has some new cleaner let’s see if it works
Life After Death cleaner from CTD bowling would clear that right up 🙌🏾

The brighter the better! Love the Vibe series ball!
Black and silver combo looks nice and not too flashy.
a lot of ball for $100! Probably one of the best bowling balls for the money right now! I also love the color!

What layout did you use on the vibe?
Could you please tell us what the layout for the Radioactive Vibe is? PLEASE? Fellow lefty here.
I dont buy bowling balls based on color, but if I had to choose one I don't like, it's silver. That being said, I had a zen.

I throw the ball just like you so I'm definitely going to get the vibe

I hate dark balls in general but I will not throw a plain black ball, just because it’s hard to see the spin I put on it
Did the color correction change in this vid? Or is the ball just that bright lol
Not that color! 🤣Good review Barks.
Stealth solid does it again🎳💥
Definitely prefer darker colors, but performance is priority.

Yellow metallic like summit always looks dirty. I'm still using my white quantum bias!

Hate the colour on the lanes, but it looks cool on the rack. It is just too hard to see the way the ball is rolling when it is so bright

I used to have the pro shop drill and fill a 1/2 dot on the PAP so I could see a solid color ball skid, hook, roll.
@goobytron2888 I read that somewhere and thought it were a great idea

What do you think about the proton physix? As it is pink purple black

I don’t like black

Green!!
"beat mitch hupe in a striek derby" lmao
I only don’t go for yellow bowling balls only because I just don’t like yellow bowling balls
I despise how any kind of regular or light, bright green looks on a ball. So to me the Duo is ugly as sin, especially with the black its mixed with. But, balls like the Cosmos and UFO Alert and the Clone on the other hand, that have a darker green hue, look really cool to me.
Color doesn't matter to me, function does.
Definitely not buying a yellow bowling ball for sure. my eyes prefer the darker colors.
I hate bright colors like yellow and pink in my bowling balls.
The radioactive vibe is a damn good ball but I don’t like the way you bowl at all
no green for me
I won't buy a white or a yellow ball like this. A few shots and they look so dirty.
Silver...idk why but silver balls look cheap
Nothing bright for me
Such a horrible shot game
Gem and exotic gem are awful to look at
