Hi guys I love the new shelter for your sheep and the sheep are just adorable . My family and I are from Australia (Western Australia) and my Father is a retired Police Officer . It’s pretty cool seeing all the badges but especially the RCMP one. My husband wasn’t RCMP but he is a veteran with the Canadian Military. He served 6 years and did one tour over in Afghanistan. I have a lot of respect for people who are in law enforcement and even though I’m not American I still would like to thank you for your service.

You guys have such a lovely family, I have lots of respect for your courage to start a new life in a natural environment, and that with four kids. Been out of town 4 days visiting family down south, great job on taking care of your "babies"...we have so many animals on our homestead...laying hens, meat rabbits, meat chickens, goats, rescue horses, bred cow and two calves...dogs and barn cats...lots that all need great shelter and warmth over the winter...we made a commitment to all the animals we have/raise...God bless all who donated patches and great kudos to the family that made the awesome flag...God Bless America!

The new enclosure for the sheep is beautiful as it is efficient and functional. You certainly had a vision when you put this together. I can't get enough of watching those cute little sheep. The patches and especially the flag are beautiful. Law enforcement officers everywhere are proud to share with you. I think I wrote to another retired officer Daniel Arms who has his own you tube channel about your channel and could he send a patch. He's retied from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and has his own homestead and farm and animals. Keep up the good work and hope the snow does not interfere with your work.

It's a proud feeling to help animals that can't help themselves. I can bet they appreciate it. The kids seeing y'all post the patches will make the kids appreciate law enforcement unlike some misdirected people.

@Rommy I reread my comment and see that I should have said law abiding enforcement officers because there are a few bad apples in the barrel. There's so much crap going on with our elected officials I try not to think too deeply on what is obviously wrong with the system and I wish we knew what it will take to get things back on track. Hopefully the Covid-19 vaccines will help protect us from this virus but I don't think anything can be done about some of the rich and powerful who manipulate the system to their benefit without the accountability we need for the offenders.

As a daughter of a Retired Police Officer/Detective of the New Haven, CT PD, as well as a Prof of Police Administration and Organized Crime at the U of CT and then onto Liaison Officer to the States Attorney's Office under SA Arnold Markle, this Video brought tears and many memories back to tis ole Lady! Dad lived to be 94 and passed three years ago, we miss him daily. We were so proud of our dad and the work he did. His accomplishments during his lifetime were hard earned raising a family of 3 girls. I commend you both for taking on this beautiful journey of yours and love following you and the children going forward. I'd love to try and get you a patch if I can. My Dad, Uncle and a Cousin all were NHPD Officers.

We enjoy watching your family’s journey on your new homestead. You have done an amazing job throughout every phase of settling in. We have a 10 acre homestead on the southeast coast, in the Charleston SC countryside. I love the sheep stall, the use of raw tree wood was genius, and it looks rustic, so it’s perfect. We have goats, and they have a three sided stall, but I love that you put four sides with a wide doorway. I think that I’m going to sweeten up the hubby for a little “project upgrade” on the goat stall. LOL. Hope you are all warm, and well. God bless!

The patch collection is growing! I am a firefighter's granddaughter and he started a FD patch collection with me many years ago. They are a treasure now that he is gone.
