I love cj's persistence to tell Insym the cause of frame drops at the start lol
I loved Insym reading a message and then cj tries to piggyback off it with the shaders and Insym stares stony eyed ahead until he says something else
youre loading all the shaders for the first time
the game still lags even after the shaders are downloaded. I run D4 on ultra with over 60fps and yet Phas has trouble running randomly. poorly optimized.

Jokes on you, its an hour of badge looks and 22min of him arguing about the microphone sounds with the chat
40:43 one of my favorite things in Phasmo is the mannequins being in new places. It's always a "wait, what?" moment. It's never a jump scare it's mearly a fact of life. Part of me what them to happen more often, but then it wouldn't be nearly as magical.
Until this moment I thought I was tripping 😂
1:13:42 there should be an interaction/event where the axe gets wiggled, and if it happens 3 times in an investigation, it falls out of the wall and makes loud clattering noise.

@nhae0 well, the axe is mostly a wooden handle falling onto a wooden desk and wooden floor. So a metal pipe sound would be pretty off.

I love the level 1 spirit box as its what actual irl ghost hunters use
Spirit bxoes are jut mini radios that quickly go through radio stations, theyre quite loud and sound janky, and when a ghost speaks through them, the use the random radio station voices to speak, so they come out a lil jank always, some times with added words than what theyre full sentence is
This is so wholesome, it's almost an hour and a half of insym rediscovering a game he already loves and enjoying every new bit like it's a whole new game. My brother in christ, your happiness is contagious !! ♥️♥️♥️

Lmao the mannequins moving is my greatest phasmofear, I still vividly remember that one time a ghost moved it outside the window in tanglewood so it looked like someone was standing outside the house and looking in. Hate them so much lol
The fact that Insym fr said that we we're lying about the Para Mic even though you can clearly hear the fan from farther was absolutely hilarious.
My man just can't notice small details...
The low cut applied to the para mic give the impression of a quieter volume but its really not quiet at all :D
You have obviously not been listening to what he was saying. The problem he has with it, is that close to the light source the sound from it was louder with the para mic off that with it on - the mic literally made the sound lower, rather than amplify it. Which is not how the para mic works in reality.
I've tested the para mic. It works as it should. It might have been a bug at this time, but when I tried it. It was working. It makes sound from farther literally the volume of when your up close.@@rissaarei5336
@@rissaarei5336 its a game not a simulator, game feel is much more important than realism. it would probably feel like ass if every single normal sound was super loud. They made it so it's quieter if you look away from it and thats good enough

I really like that the level you ended with is 16661. Its symmetrical and it has 666 in it. In a gamr about ghosts and demons, its really fitting
I think he stopped on that level on purpose
I hope they let us change the save badge again one day, but they made it so clear with "never" that I wonder if it was a technical decision or a choice

I am so excited for this new era of Phasmophobia, and no one's dedication will show more than Insym's. I am SO excited for this new chapter of INSYM'S content. Phasmophobia is his game and always will be. It's his home, and he is the king.

I'm not usually a fan of horror games but I'm so excited for the console release so I can try out Phasmo. I got randomly recommended Insym videos one day and I love watching them.

The level on your badge is perfect! It's a palindrome, it also looks like 666 in "brackets" which is appropriate considering it's a paranormal game. I love it!

Hi. Got on this morning expecting to start playing on console instead of my weak laptop. Then I looked at the discord where it said late August. Now this stream will entertain me all day.

I'm with Insym on this one, I literally can't hear anything at all. I thought it was broken when I was playing earlier. Still do.
@@xiidraco I don't see how you can't hear it, if you're expecting the parabolic mic to be screaming at you when looking at an object sure I can understand, but the noise is present, if you can't hear it maybe you're using cheap headphones or something. But the sound is there, end of statement, it's just quiet and has a high pass filter applied to it...

I honestly adore the update and especially the new tier1 spirit box! When a ghostie answered the first time i was sooo thrown back to all the spooky movies and series i love watching! Para mic is wayyyy scarier to use now but dang the dots pen is a bit of a pain in the butt hahahah
What shocked me was how much darker the game is now. Even on full brightness everything is pitch black around you without lamps. Makes it a bit hard playing during daytime even with curtains but it‘s supposed to be dark and scary so i get why that was changed.
As a veteran of Phasmophobia i already see how hard is to find the correct ghost with tier 1 equipments,i redid the challenge mode which 2 days ago i completed it in 30 minutes all 3 and now i completed it in one hour which is double. It's nice that CJ took the matter in hand and now mare can turn off keyboard or TV's as they are no longer light sources. As for the levelling...Hell,first time i thought "Hey it's gonna be an easy level now,after this is done i'll be 55 in no time" What a surprise i had when i saw that i leveled only 9 levels as your requirement increases as you level up (as normally would be) and now the grinding all the way to the best tier is gonna be a hell of a race. This update in my opinion is big for the community and I personally thank CJ for that.

I love the new update so far I played 4 games, 1 solo and 3 with a friend. I got a ton of bugs that I hope get fixed really soon though.
1- Spirit box ghost response are the original voice actor and not scary at all. (pretty funny though)
2- Global chat was not working half the time. Proxy chat was fine.
3- Sometimes I would turn on lights and it wouldn't do anything. Was fine for my friend.
4- Cursed possession did not show up for me at least once that I know of. (summoning circle was there for my friend but I couldn't see it)
5- At one point I couldn't use the computer in the van but it was fine for my friend.
6- I smudged the ghost but got killed anyway. Maybe that was me but I usually know how to use the smudge sticks...I was level 1900
Those are the bugs I remember nothing game breaking but very annoying.
You can tell how happy and how excited Insym is by how fast he's talking and how many sentences he doesn't finish LOL
No I really hope they make the badge continuously customizable. there is no reason it shouldn't be.

Hey Insym, I recently watched a lot of your vids on Phasmo and yesterday I watched my first live stream. I just wanted to thank you. I am just an occasional player and not a good one I would say. But watching you helped me so that yesterday after your stream I played Phasmo and I did my very first succesful loop of a ghost during a hunt. I never could do it before. So thanks a lot! This ghost was right on my a** but I survived thanks to your videos.

im glad about the ultraviolet evidence as sometimes ghost dont interact with doors, or there is no door on their locations, so the salt becomes very helpful with that. what an amazing update..... it feels like a new game. im so enjoying it. even the ghosts sounds changed. so creepy now. haha
I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but the symmetry of your badge (and the number itself, with 666 in it) is incredibly satisfying.

Dude, your knowledge of all the ghosts is insane. How the heck were you so quickly ruling out various ghost types immediately?
There are certain things that only a particular ghost type can do, and there are also certain things that a particular ghost type cannot do. Mares are unable to flick on a light. Phantoms cannot be seen in photos. Goryos cannot roam. Jinns can't turn off the breaker (but the breaker can still be overloaded). There are also other subtle things, like Mares having a small chance to flick off a light that you just turned on immediately after you do it. Phantoms having a different rate that they can be visible during a hunt. Obakes having a guaranteed once per hunt "shapeshift" where they become a different ghost model, and their small chance of leaving behind a fingerprint with an extra 6th finger. Obakes also are coded so that you are guaranteed to get fingerprints as one of the evidence.
Insym used to play practically every day for a long time, so while his knowledge seems crazy, it'd be even crazier if he wasn't this good by now

The fact that the tutorial knows when you film a ghost orb means that they already have a system for using the video camera to gather video evidence (like photo evidence, but with video cam).
i kinda love the truck camera stuck on one camera XD
First round of the update I got goryo. It was professional, but that only narrowed it down to 4 options. I had to make the most scuffed setup of my life, putting a camera behind the dots flashlight on the ground. Somehow it actually worked, but jeez that was rude to give to me first game.

The first ghost I got when I started the game was the fixed Yurei!! It was so cool seeing the doors slam shut twice and then my sanity dropping all the way to 50

I choose to believe that the ghost of dead investigators have to work for the company in the training facility until they save up enough to pay for a resurrection. While you're going through the training I'm picturing three or four investigator ghosts standing around saying "You wanna throw the book this time, Bob?" "Nah, Ellen, I need a smoke break really bad." "I'm going to go lower the temperature and make UV handprints in the next room." "Ellen, stop writing dirty limericks in the notebooks!" "Throw a mug at him when his back's turned, George. That's a classic." "Bob, stop flirting with the newbies on the Spirit Box, you're freaking them out."
