Oh I just got an idea The Truck Dweller Challenge You have to guess the ghost - in a multiplayer game - But only from the truck You can make your teammates place cameras, sound sensors, and give you as much info as possible. But you can't leave You can also watch the screens inside the truck, to try and gather information. If you want to make it harder, cut off communication, so you have to see dots through a camera, or like an Obake shapeshifting, or EMF on the screen Or if the sound sensor picks up steps from a Thaye (I don't know if sound sensors works during hunts) Anyways it's just an idea, you obviously don't have to do it, if you don't think it'll be interresting enough^^ Last but not least - great video as always, love your work
That would only be interesting if he was the one placing the cameras and waiting for them to give him the evidence. Otherwise it would be just watching him watching the cameras.
That challenge is probably way easier than you might think, use a setup period to get all the gear into the location and find the ghost room, all you need is 3 tripods, 3 cameras, DOTS, writing book, EMF, Sound sensor, salt and motion sensors. Set up the cameras so that one is focused on the room and DOTS, one is focused on the book and the other on the EMF, place the sound sensor near the book, place the salt wherever and the motion sensors at the room entrances then leave. From the truck you will be able to; Hear the ghost writing See orbs and/or DOTS Hear salt footsteps Hear items being tossed which you can cross reference with the activity meter Observe the EMF to see if it goes to 5, which you can also guess with the activity meter Observe the room to see if the breaker is switched off with that you can confirm or rule out at least 4 evidence types, potentially rule out a Jinn, Goryo, Hantu or Wraith, or Confirm a Goryo, Twins or Polti the remaining ghosts that require freezing temps, spirit box or UV would come down to a guess, although technically you might be able to set up UV to shine over doors or salt and potentially get that via truck too. All in all not an easy challenge as it's somewhat luck based, but not impossible either.
You're missing out on a ton of fun xD I would recommend playing it now as there's so many updates to come, that you may miss out on limited time experiences.@@StudleyDuderight

You could add an addendum to the challenge stating that once you leave the room, you MUST leave the house and return to the truck. That way you can check for dots in the truck for the sneaky Goryo situations.
14:50 i supose it's becasue of the geometry of that stand/shelf. it's not perfectly rectangular, and i think the IA actively tracks the shorter distance between it's current location and the your. so it will try to get the shorter way to reach you... that's my opinion
The firsts rounds without the 'I wish for Activity' were the most enjoyable. The games turned into an easy speedrun because it will give you instantly all evidences, even the harder ones like Writing. Maybe avoid that wish for future runs?

yo insym, just got phasmophobia updated, and i got a trouble i was dealing with a spirit in professional mode: smudge for three minutes, all evidences are correct, but when i went back, i got a twinteraction showing on board i was hell of confused becauce i didn't got an orbs for a mimic, but i pinned it in journal and wow, it turns out that it was spirit my question is: how is that even possible?
Challenge: "Is This Thing Turned On?" Settings: Cursed Items - Ouija Board, Mic - always hot, Difficulty - whatever Trick: Not accidentally triggering the Ouija Board cutting your time Rules: - drop all item you may need inside the front door - Cannot identify ghost location/gather evidence until you grab, and turn on the Ouija Board - You cannot Turn Off the Ouija Board, allow it to turn off, or allow it to break until you identify the ghost or die - You have until the Ouija Board breaks to find out the ghost.
Always hot mic is not the excitement that lots of people think it is and Insym has talked about it in another video. Back in the olden days of Phasmo the mic was always hot in single player and he still played the game as normal, but when the ghost hunted he had to stop all commentary. It didn't really add to the difficulty and made for a less entertaining experience for viewers as well as him.
@@davidlewis1418 The point of the always hot mic here is not the ghost, but the Ouija Board - every time it picks up something as a question from you, you lose time to figure out what the ghost is. Considering you have until the Ouija Board breaks, you should optimally be figuring it out before a hunt.

It's a completely self imposed challenge, and absolutely not intended for random solo players out there. Heck, you could just change it to text for recognition and bypass the entire thing. The point is not to try to game the system.

I mean, it's not going to add to the difficulty of the game other than needing to carry an Ouija with you everywhere and makes an already tedious part of the game more tedious (inventory space) on top of it still impacting the ability to speak during hunts (just like Insym mentioned before - it wasn't fun for viewers). This challenge is really "Do I trust voice recognition to understand I'm not asking a question" than anything else.
