And the phrases "confidence is a mask at times", "even if we have our loved ones with us throughout, we may be alone at fighting battles" is so realistic.. As Dhanya mentioned I did feel the need to listen to questions framed/asked correctly. And I think That in itself is a wonderful change that Riyaz, along with a lot of other allies, have been able to bring about in Kerala! As Dhanya mentioned I did feel the need to listen to questions framed/asked correctly. And I think That in itself is a wonderful change that Riyaz, along with a lot of other allies, have been able to bring about in Kerala! I feel a bit relieved to realize that despite all that unempathetic comments one has to deal with on social media, atleast a few of us are consciously trying to defeat our unconscious biases.

I know you say it out of good intentions but Why should he run away to a safer space? It’s the soceity thats shitty & judgemental, not him. So if they are unhappy let them go to hell. Let them stay away from him/ leave him
alone or learn to open up their brains and heart , unlearn & relearn and accept him and everyone else. That would benefit everyone.
And he is trying to make a change in society by staying where he is. That is more powerful ❤
