    Just found your video - this is exactly what I need to know. My Stihl 600 blower is "extremely" hard to pull sometimes (not every time). It's never been adjusted like you demonstrated, but I suspect it needs it badly. Going to give it a try. Big thanks!

    Good vid buddy, refreshing to see someone state you need to be on correct stroke tdc👍 So many idiots doing vids that don’t understand what they are doing, amazes me to see some numpties just put it on tdc and adjust without it being on correct stroke. Suppose they got a 50/50 chance🤣

      Hey quick question: is it true you need to adjust carb after adjusting valves?? I don’t understand why but two mechanics have told me that they work hand in hand ?? It doesn’t add up to me, but have you heard that ever?

    I understand there are some advantages to the 4 mix, but in a blower I just don't see the need. It's just more to go wrong and more maintenance.

    • @tonyslawncare
      @tonyslawncare  5 років тому

      I agree bro but with that said the stihl blowers are great on gas no vibration the br600 is the best weight/power ratio out there look at the specs on website. I also run redmax blowers husqvarna blowers etc. So i see both sides but theres no denying stihl has a great machine

    It would be good to specify the thickness of the feeler gauge. For reference, it is 0.1 mm, +/- 0.02mm. This should only be done when the engine is cold.
