It’s crazy how Arnel sings so much like Steve Perry . He is the one that kept Journey alive after Steve left the band.
Saw them at the Forum 5 years ago, Neil did a solo on guitar for 30 minutes. My friend and I hit bar, that was boring the solo. I had some big chick keep hitting my arm next to my seat, I said fk this, friend and I found perfect view up by ramp. Arnel is beautiful! So much energy!
I don't know if Steve could even still hit the notes he used to. Arnel keeps the flame well and truly alive.

I saw them recently in Palm desert! Definitely had to go to one of their concerts
Hard to believe Arnell has been with the band 16 years longer than anybody including Steve Perry he's now 56 years old but he still bounces around the stage like a teenager. The voice is incredible he does Steve Perry justice but he also has his own voice. Arnell's also got one of the best performances or stage presence is of anybody alive. Neal Schon after 50 years with journey and over 54 years including his time in Santana still sounds and looks incredible. The Resurgence of Deen Castronovo on drums after being kicked out initially because of spousal abuse is nothing short of amazing. Dean is simply one of the greatest drummer singers and performers in 2023. Not so fond of the bass player but he's fine Jason derlatka ads additional keyboards and sings late Steve Perry songs from Raised on Radio. And of course Jonathan Cain after 43 years still getting it done great background vocals great keyboards great guitar great stage show and hey don't hold it against him that he's Christian and he's a great public speaker my God what a great Band still unbelievable. All the hatred all the people going in out of the band Neil and Jonathan attacking each other but still they're holding it together after 50 Years Journey was my first concert in 1978 I was 15 years old I'm now an old bastard 60 years old
Journey'smusic is timeless, and their music is good for young and old alike!! 60 years old is the new 40 years old!

@@lesscotford1419everybody knows Pineda is a replacement singer. Just to validate Steve Perry is still the definitive voice but Pineda is giving the band a new life.
@@DOI_ARTS no doubt. Just was introduced to the band in my late teens and was in awe at Perry's vocals, before that Ian Gillans vocals were the max, ha. Neal Schon never got the credit he deserved really, up there with the best.

My hubby and I were there too! Sang the entire set list and lost our voices that week but worth it. I LOVE Arnel and Journey is the greatest band of all time. Hubby was hoping SP would show up for a song or two but he didn’t. All good 👍❤️⚡️🔥❤️

pineda is steve perry on steroids. perry was 28 when he joined the band for 10 years. pineda was 40 when he joined the band for 16 years now and counting. the consistency of pineda voice at 40 outshines the consistency of perry voice at 28.

Night after Night !!! His vocal versatility, talent, and high energy are the FUEL that keeps the Jurney Concert rocking for many years !!!
****The 2023 Journey Freedom Tour would be wrapping up soon, and my gosh they managed to do the Concert successfully against all odds!!
***Hopefully, at the end of the Tour, those with feuds with each other would come up to their senses as mature people do and make amends!!..and plan ahead of time for what's NEXT with them instead of fighting!! ( for what good it would bring to them?)

WOW!!! Awesome concert! Cant believe its been 50 years. I was at 3 of their shows in Jacksonville, FL. The Escape, Frontiers, and Raised on Radio tours. No one knew then that that would be the last time we would see Steve Perry leading the band. But Arnel took his spot and has been belting it out ever since. God Bless all of the members of Journey, and Steve Perry.
