Alicia was the soundtrack of my teenage, then my twenties...there aren't enough superlatives to describe how amazingly talented she is.
The other night, I sat there knowing all the words, runs and sometimes the arrangements of most songs. Yet, I still found myself in awe of her craft, her mastery, her vision, her stage presence, crowd interaction, ingenuity...or simply how much happiness her music brought to the room.
I think she is iconic and this is the first time in my life I can say that I have been part of the entire journey.
