This means that you can battle Larry a total of *5* times! First at the Medali Gym, 2nd being the Elite 4, 3rd being his rematch, the 4th being where he faces you with this team in the video and the 5th being the time with his other team as an Elite 4.
You actually fight Larry here with his Gym AND Elite team at the same time. He has an Altaria and a Flamigo. So, no. You fight him four times, but the fourth time is unlimited.
@Beulraeki That math is honestly wrong. Yes, it's a mix of the teams, but that doesn't change how many battles there has been. If I fought someone with the same team twice, I would've still fought them twice.
I like how this symbolises Larry’s change and acceptance towards flying types. Like sometimes it is fine to stray from your comfort zone. Mix comfort with some challenge, mix it with appreciating different approaches to life. It represents him understanding why Geeta forced him to use a flying team, as a way to stray from familiar paths. He takes her intent to heart by actually using them in his team willingly showing that he accepts change. His team represents his love for normalcy and his pride in being normal, and his acceptance with the changes that comes with flying soaring above. It also does a good job making him be the common Normal/Flying type but it in human form. It’s him accepting his E4 role. It is fine to stray and stay with the familiar but never over do it on both sides.
When i invited Iono as a special coach she mentioned the fact Geeta told her i chose her as my favorite gym leader during that interview, i find it interesting they remembered that interaction
The term “gym coaches” is sorta misleading. I thought they meant to help you train your Pokémon with the specific type they specialize. Like Grusha help training your Ice types for example.
IMHO this is way better, as you can actually battle these trainers at their strongest and you can also see them use full teams with different mons included, while in the GST you ended up always seeing the same teams
I really missed the music from the Paldea gym leaders. Especially once the gym leaders tera their Pokémon. That gets me so hype lol. I recently did another playthrough of Sw/Sh and noticed the music of the gym leaders when they would gigntamax their Pokemon was similar but it’s WAY better in S/V.
Damn, Level 80+ gym leader rematches, already pretty spicy, tho i wish they also pull a BDSP with these rematches and make them have super optimal EVs, IVs, Natures and even held items lmao (200 BP is pricey tho ngl, papa's on a budget here, dang)
I will understand if you don't watch the video it's okay! 👍
I can still watch it for research!
It can't be that bad if it's for research for my playthrough!
But I already did😂
Anyways, I have mad respect for Dracool.

Wow...congrats...you can count to 5 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I'm really glad and happy that I will get to fight Iono anytime. I'm still enjoying seeing her Dancing the Gym Leader theme as always. lol

These aren't even battles. It's just an overpowered Dragonite spamming extremespeed. 😂
I did that in some of mine, but my Dragonite wasn’t overpowered.
If the last 3 coaches are Penny, Arven and Nemona....boy oh boy, I can't wait to hear Penny's theme again 🤩
12:40 um… slippery slide? 😂

Man, this special coach thing is on par with the Galarian Star Tournament (IMO).

@@VenomousVillain36 Now that you mention it, it’s true actually.
Please include all interiors and photo effects for League Clubs after Superboss Level video?

I wish they switehed Larry's Altaria out with a different flying type.
You might as well change your profile to a Dragonite. Just make sure that the psuedo legendary is shiny, so people wouldn't confuse you with Pimpnite.
Will you include all the interactions of the special coaches?
I did that in some, but I prefer straight to the battle.

You also rematch the elite four with Rika and the others it’s nice
They really made the rematches pretty hard.
I still don't understand why Game Freak got rid of the battle mode set. And optional exp share.
Where does this take place?
Can you Rematch them as many times as you want?
