That Turquoise Pearl is gorgeous. I'm still in love with my Starclassic Maple Molten Electric Blue though. And these beautiful ladies all have killer chops!
Amazing Drummers! It's inspiring to see women drumming and having a good time and on amazing kits. Love Tama Drums!! If these artists have channels, I'd subscribe. 🥁🔥
I love the Star Walnut Japanese chestnut finish and the tuning of the kit too and the Turquoise Pearl finish in the TAMA Starclassic the drums overall sounds awesome
I'm a huge enthusiast and have been using (only) Tama Drums since 1994! I still have my first kit (Tama Rockstar) in perfect conditions... Definitely Tama is the Strongest Name In Drums!! I'm sending this message to bagging you to bring back this year the "Tama Superstar Classic 7-Piece in Matte Figured Maple". Almost all the big brands in the market offers something like this finish in maple shells drums. For them cannot buy a “Tama Star Series” or a “Starclassic Maple” drums… The "Tama Superstar Classic 7-Piece in Matte Figured Maple" is the perfect NATURAL finish for a very CLASSIC model, with an AFFORDABLE price!!! An I think this is the reason almost all others brands have maple shells with natural finishes… Because is more easy and cheap to make and never be outdated! Always be a classic.. In this case: A Superstar Classic!!!!!! It’s never pass, never be outdated and one of the more gorgeous maple (natural) finishes I ever seen in my life!! I'm living in the USA and I hope this finish come back and be available in North America market!! I really dreaming to have one of this! Thank you
TAMA, I love your drums and hardware and been playing TAMA since the early 1990s, but your color palette is terrible lately. When are the beautiful lacquer sparkles coming back?
I don't think Tama is targeting folks playing drums from 30 years ago. They're trying to get the next gen. I suppose they should make some finishes in the older style. Mine is a charcoal silver sparkle finish, love it.
ONLY if you’re looking at Star. Every other line went downhill especially Walnut/Birch. We lost all the sparkle finishes that made Tama great for so many years. Also keep in mind Japan gets so many great finishes that aren’t available in other markets.
@@Assimilator702 heavily agree. Seeing some kits come up on reverb made years ago that Tama has done... I'm pretty sad with what they have to offer now. Even the star line. Guess I'll wait till next year..
Big disagree. To each their own though. I'm a Tama for life guy but missed out on the 2000s and 2010s where they made absolutely gorgeous stuff. Now it's weird and not very tasteful.
I’m hoping someone can help me with this. I have been researching for ages and I just cannot decide between the tama Starclassic maple or the birch walnut. I know that the maple is more expensive but is it worth it? Thanks
After waiting a year for some nice finishes, I must say that I’m disappointed and plus no new finishes at all of Walnut/Birch series….was looking forward to purchasing one this year
Back in the early 1990's I bought my first semi pro kit. A Tama Rockstar DX. The build quality was so terrible I never forgot it. To this day the only thing Tama I will will buy is the hardware. That one experience when I was in my early 20's soured me forever on Tama drums.
I just got the star classic birch/walnut in the tamo ash with black Nicole hardware. It's beautiful kit compared to my dingy blue 21year old Rockstar kit
How about giving the drummers a shout out and adding their names to the description.
Nice to see some drum companies highlighting a number of female drummers. Love to see more of that!

wow . beautiful.
Tama really is the strongest name in the drum world been playing Tama kits most of my drumming career but would love to see more finish choices
That Star Walnut snare was insane!!!!!!!!

Great finishes and great great playing. Glad to be a Tama family member xx
I'm digging that Antique White on the Star Walnut!
YES! I’m really loving that finish. Tama really making it difficult for me when I decide to pull the trigger on a Star Walnut kit.
@@Assimilator702 I definitely want a mix of Atomic Orange & Royal Blue on my toms and floor and bass, and Green on my Octobans!
That star walnut snare is insane!!!!!
Turquoise tom flam so burpy nice !!!!!
Star walnut sounded the best to my ears
Hello,
Quelles belles finitions pour ces kits , une petite préférence pour le banc antique qui est vraiment réussi...
Bonne année à tous 🎉😉
one of my 2023 goals is to get a Tama drum set
I love that red one, but they all sound incredible!
Pewter Blue is my favorite
magnifique! fier d'être un TAMA brother!
TAMA, I love your drums and hardware and been playing TAMA since the early 1990s, but your color palette is terrible lately. When are the beautiful lacquer sparkles coming back?
Best drums ever! Finishes are definitely lacking the wow factor.
Agree. Their last Walnut Birch maple finishes were HORRENDOUS.
Iv been asking this question for a while now. TAMA never replies.
Maybe you could try translating the question into Japanese & see if they respond? 🤷

I really liked the Red Oyster finish.
Yes who are these women? Great video!
Nothing catches the light like a Glitter/Sparkle/Broken Glass. I enjoyed this video though.
Ice Ash Superstar is CLEAN!
That finish needs to be on Star models too!
Pewter Blue Acacia is 🔥 TAMA for life ❤
Glad to see some Australian varnishing getting some more higher end recognition.
Still love my Blue Galaxy fade starclassic.
They discontinued my Cinnamon Japanese Chestnut Hi gloss. Cool! I have all the drums I need. Not feeling the antique white that they replaced it with.
🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹
I don't know who's coming up with the finishes the last few years, but since 2018, Tama has DEFINITELY improved!
ONLY if you’re looking at Star. Every other line went downhill especially Walnut/Birch. We lost all the sparkle finishes that made Tama great for so many years. Also keep in mind Japan gets so many great finishes that aren’t available in other markets.
@@Assimilator702 That's assuming one liked the sparkle finishes...
@@hombreenojado The consensus in the Tama community seems to agree with me.

The girl with the fly away hair looks pretty...
Red oyster please😍😍

I'm trying to buy a 5 piece turquoise pearl but I can't find them in stock anywhere :/

Hi TAMA Drums, I hope TAMA replaces the Grand Royal Blue finishes in the STAR model with the NEW Blue colour 🙏🙏 Thank You 😊
ROY, PBA, TQP the best!
Please make a solid yellow starclassic performer
Y’all forgot crimson red waterfall for the starclassic
where the sparkles/glass glitters at?!?
After waiting a year for some nice finishes, I must say that I’m disappointed and plus no new finishes at all of Walnut/Birch series….was looking forward to purchasing one this year
I love Tama but these finishes suck ! Bring back the sparkles , Metallic and natural finishes !
beautiful, I choose any one of them...the drums too.
Well, alrighty then....

We’re a small town church looking for a donation kit if anyone could or would help us out it would be greatly appreciated.
Is there someone in the comments section who would be able to give me some tips on how to get better at fills? I'm on WhatsApp, zoom and Skype
Try harder next time.
Hmm... sorry, but I don't like. I prefer lacquer finishes. Great drums, but the finishes...
Man, I don't dig any those finishes.
Boring to be honest
The john palmer transgender targeted kit finish was a bridge too far so now its just all female drummers...... for now
Which one?
Is he any relation to Harry Palmer?

Too much cymbal crashing not enough drum sounds.

I legit just got the same kit, cant imagine it being too popular with it being limited release but how gorgeous is it 😍
That's really what they're calling it?
@@justhadrums i have only ever seen it in the shop that i bought mine so I believe its limited yes
