I have lost count of the amount of opportunities I have missed because my nerves have killed me in the interview - I had another interview Monday which again I flunked! I am convinced that I will never be able to get over this hurdle 🤦🏻♂️
Hey… you need to start convincing yourself that you can do it. Try going into the next interview with a blasé attitude. Don’t worry about the outcome or how you’re going to perform. If you don’t care, you’ll probably do better. Please don’t give it. It will happen but start believing in yourself.
@@CareerVidz Thanks for the reply, I try to approach every interview confidently but I just seem to get stumped with my answers no matter how hard I prepare - I guess it’s the fear of the unknown, not knowing what I am going to be asked. The last couple of interviews have been on Teams which should be easier but I am still screwing up! Are you going to do a video on Remote interviews?
Same thing happened to me at the time of the interview. No matter how much i prepare for the interview but in the end everything screwed up. Nowadays I am trying new techniques such as think in English and practice more and more. You can try this as well, it will help you to some extent. And once you get into that flow then it won't be difficult anymore. And don't give up and one has to overcome the difficulties only then success will come on the feet. Sooner or later you will get it
Same thing has been happening to me. Makes me feel a little better knowing I’m not alone, I think 😂
Confidence is everything! Act like you already won the job by not worrying about the outcome. Importantly do your homework and don’t rush your answers. Deep breath, pause, slow down bc you are allowed 30-60 mins to market yourself (time to shine).

I wanted to Thank you I recently had an interview. I was truly excited and I am not sure what can be done however, my interviewers arrived about twenty minutes late and rushed through the initial introduce yourself, it all felt like I was running out of time and now rushed even though I had practiced with your tutorials which are great and so are you! How would one overcome that and be super confident? I felt totally unprepared for that incident. With previous experiences everyone was always on time for the interviews. Thank you for all you do!

Bit of a strange question. You’re videos helped get my current job 10 months ago in a new industry. 3 months ago my line manager got sacked and I’ve been covering the role. I have been told this week I have to apply and interview for the managers job but I’m unsure how to prepare?

What's more frustrating is that in some cases these folks hosting the interviews, are jealous to some degree and I never get any response. It's so stupid

I didn't do go in my interview but I hope I pass I watched the wrong videos. I was very shocked to see my friends on the panel I froze up on what can I bring to the team. Also a lot of the scenarios they wanted me to answer I never experienced so it was hard for me to answer them. I'm still waiting to see if I get the job

Thanks very much, Richard - you described the way I used to feel in my first set of interviews. I haven't received any official interviews, but checked my LinkedIn Profile views. The Recruitment Industry views have shot up from 44 to 56 in the last 2 weeks. I am wondering if this is a positive sign or is a false positive. My Overall Profile views is now 603 up from 176 which I had in early December.
